A PTR for a trip in 6 weeks? It can be done! 31 hours to go!!!

There are a ton of things I want to try at WDW! Different treats are on the top of my list. They are, in no particular order:

A cotton-tini at TREX (cotton candy martini)
A dole whip
A pop rocks martini at Fulton's
Tinkerbell Slush for DD
Stuffed pretzels at Kringla in Epcot
Vegan Chocolate Chip cookies at Pop Century (yep, I will go for them!)

I am a vegetarian, and trying really hard to become vegan. My dr's also think I may have Celiac's Disease, which is a wheat and gluten allergy. So most breads, pasta, etc. make me sick. I can have a *small* amt, and not get sick, but if I overdo it, I will be sick in bed for three days. It has taken them almost a year to diagnose me, and no one is certain yet. All we know is I get sick from most carbs.

I do like my adult beverages though, but if I have more than one I get sleepy. DH is planning to drink around Epcot. I hope I don't have to carry him to the hotel. He is heavy!

I bought those clip-on fans from Gander Mountain... I can't wait to clip them on and use them.

I have never had a dole whip either I am wanting to try one too!

Another not so good thing about the costume beside it being hot is if it rains it will be really heavy and take forever to dry!!

Can't wait for the pictures!

This is some glow sticks, our rain ponchos, DD8's lanyard with pins, pipe cleaners, and 2 pins I held back for a surprise!

We have 2 mister fans, three hand held fans, and 4 stroller fans(the white on the left, not all are pictured).

I bought Cinderella Carriage "cages" for the pearls at Epcot. We are going to go to the Japan pavilion and buy the $17 pearls (each). Instead of settings, I bought these pearl cages. They have very cheap silver necklaces (shown). I am thinking of buying better necklaces.

The cage itself, with a heart on the inside...

This is opened.

Sorry about the supplies in the back. I have an ebay business (see facebook!) and my stuff is all over the place!

So LTT called today and said they wanted us to change our ressie from the Diamond Horseshoe to there. They said it was b/c of MNSSHP; they were using it as a treat station. :confused3 IDK.

So now we will be there at 5:05pm. That is great, b/c that is originally where we wanted to eat! DH will be happy. He likes his meat. :rotfl:

My mom paid off her trip today! It was due tomorrow, and now we are both paid off! All the big things are paid for, as we already have our plane tickets and our MNSSHP tickets. The next things are Halloween costumes and car rental. We haven't decided on either.

I want to tinker with my ADR's. We have a 12pm TREX lunch on Monday, but if we go to a park that day, we will have to leave at about 11. Not a huge deal, as I was thinking DHS that day. Decisions!

Treat station???????????? Hm... I wish I knew more on this. Perhaps the Sept 4th MNSSHP goers can tell us what's up with that.

If you want to see the MK fireworks and don't mind not seeing the castle go to fantasyland in front of Winnie the Pooh. You have a perfect view, and it is usually free of people.

Key under the Mat at the Muppets (3d) MGM Studios
Some have said it's not there anymore, I personally cannot verify this.

The rope in the well outside Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular MGM Studios

Small door in the rock wall in the Boneyard at Animal Kingdom

Mice in the rafters at Cinderella’s castle Magic Kingdom

Lady and the Tramp paw prints outside of tony’s Magic Kingdom

Umbrella on the lamp post that drips 'rain' when you hang on it MGM Studios
If you have trouble finding it, it's easiest to find close to the entrance of Lights, Motors, Action! If you are standing at the entrance of LMA, look back onto the city streets and it's on a corner. It's hard to find if you don't have a general idea of where it is.

Talking and walking trashcan in Tomorrow land also see if you Magic Kingdom
can find the person who is making him walk and talk.
There is also one in the Electric Umbrella CS restaurant in Epcot. It's stationary but it still talks.

Devine (women dressed as trees/ on stilts) Animal Kingdom

Epcot Rose. That is located past the Fountain of Nations on the EPCOT
way to WS. It is very easy to never even notice it but look for the
pinkish red tiles as you walk toward WS, it is in the very center
Wait, what is this?

Whitewash Brushes on Tom Sawyer Island Magic Kingdom
There are days that they don't hide any paintbrushes on the island but you can ask the CM taking you over to the island on the raft if there are indeed brushes hidden that day.

There's an old wall phone in the candy shop on Main Street where Magic Kingdom you can listen in on a mother/daughter conversation.
There's also one in Tomorrowland. See picture below, it's located on the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway side of the Astro Orbiter.

Cinderella’s horse has a gold bow on her tail at the carousel Magic Kingdom

you'll see a huge net hanging from the Ceiling...it's full of redish MGM Studios
squares and odd shapes...well it's full of Jello...as bad of jokes as
you can get...its "A-net Full-of-jello" get it...Annette Funicello ...
ehhehe...ooh.
When you're waiting in line next to the Haunted Mansion's front doors, read through all of the tombstone epitaphs. Pay special attention to that of Madame Leota. Every minute or so, her face presses out slightly, her eyes open and dart back and forth, and she returns to sleep. People will call you crazy for about a minute, when five other people see it and start shouting.
Also, a couple of other tips I love for the HM is look up when the stretching room gets dark... trust me. And, if you want to exit the stretching room first, go to the side of the room with the painting of the lady.
Once you go through the mansion, take your time exiting. Take a gander at the engraved wall of the mausoleum and the pet cemetery for a few chuckles, then see if you can find the granddaddy of Disney World scavenger hunt photos - the bride's ring in the sidewalk. Skeptics say that it was never intended as a secret, but was just a leftover from a pole that was removed. But Disney lovers and cast members have constructed quite a story about the ring, which they say the doomed bride pitched out the window before murdering her husband-to-be. It's embedded in the stone sidewalk and is very difficult to find, but it's there.
And here's the saddest one, per the 2007 HM refurb, the ring has since been removed. Rumor is that Imagineers REALLY didn't appreciate the story made up because of it since it really wasn't intended to be there so they had it removed in 2007.

also in the HM....in the stretching room try to be the last one out.... look up but also listen very carefully. they added whispers of people telling you to 'get outttt!!!!' and stuff
:)

Day 1 arrival day, Epcot
Day 2 DHS
Day 3 MK
Day 4 possibly DHS, but back to DTD for lunch
Day 5 Epcot for lunch, MNSSHP and my birthday!
Day 6 not sure yet
Day 7 departure day and MK

Days 4, 6 and 7 are up in the air. No TS ressies except TREX at DTD. I have more detailed plans, will post later.

Sounds like a great trip! :goodvibes

Can I ask, what are the pipe cleaners for?

I read somewhere that kids like to play with them. Cleaner than play-doh, and you can make more things. Haven't tried yet, but I am sure we will do anything with cranky kids! I am thinking for lines and waits.

So our DME packet arrived today. I am still waiting for the next packet- I hope soon!

I bought some more stuff for our trip today. I bought the boys hats, even though IDK if they will keep them on: SpongeBob for Alex and Nemo for Luke. I also bought blister band aids, and a anti-friction stick thingy. I need to buy some more sunscreen. I know we do not have enough, and I am sure it will be so much more expensive in the parks. I have Neutrogena Baby for the kids, as I know it doesn't sting their eyes. I have Aveeno spray for the rest of us.

Need to go and check things off the "to-buy" list!

I am so jealous about the getting you ME package... :sad2:

I am going to start stalking my travel agent... I will just wait in her office for the mail man...

Doesn't Disney know I am not a patient person?? :headache:

I'm in!popcorn::

We are in the same boat! LOL

This is our first trip and I have one month to plan! We live in Chicago Subs too. :thumbsup2
