I love credit cards so much! v7.0 - 2025 (see first page for add'l details)

Same boat but WF, denied for the autograph journey. Never had anything with them so I'll see what the letter says when it comes.

Cap1 pre-approval only gave me the no af venture so I'll pass on that.

Think I'm just going to put spend on my dl and Surpass cards for now.

I do need to amp up my spend on the Surpass. I guess my car insurance can go on there. But I would like to get something out of my property taxes if I could, LOL.

Can't you cancel and then apply for a different SW Personal Card than the one you cancelled? That still works doesn't it?? That is what I have my SIL doing soon - so I hope so.
I think you are supposed to wait 30 days, and my issue is that it's less than 30 days before the offer is supposed to expire (September 17).

Is it still 30 days even if you apply for a different SW card then the one you are closing? I guess I assumed that was the case but now I am second guessing myself...

Could you apply and then recon after the 30 have passed since you'd still be in the recon window?

It's 30 days if applying for the exact same card. If applying for a different SW card, then 4 days.

Did you have to close anything before hand? I have a CIC (opened 2022), a CIU (likely opened 6/2024) and a CIP (opened 8/24). I guess I could close my CIC, and always PC the CIP to a CIC if Chase doesn't approve a CIC. Hmmmm. I'm really bummed BOA denied me (and shocked).
DH had a CIP opened in 1/24 that I closed last week. He has another CIP that I will close once the AF hits in October.

Instant approval for P2 on a Citi Strata Elite. Will be shifting some focus to the Citi ecosystem now they have the AA transfer option. Already have a couple other Citi cards and will likely shift more spend over there as I evaluate whether to keep the CSR/Amex Plat with their higher annual fees. Cap1 VenX could also be on the chopping block with the nerfing of PP benefits, but undecided on that so far.
