Mail time was very exciting today!

First there was some mail from the Big Mouse himself.

Those are my vouchers (has anyone used those) and a 30 minute arcade card. I need to look into this stuff and see if any of it will actually be useful. Any comments?

Then there was the piece of mail from pamouselover.

I got Mickey Mail yesterday as well! Now, I can really start planning.

We need a new stroller...we have a Perego Pliko P3 that we love, but something is wrong with it. Who knows? But, I have been scanning ebay for stroller deals, I just can't see forking out the bucks for another Perego, when we might not use it much longer...or will we? How long did you guys use your strollers? How old were your kiddos when you quit?

How long did you guys use your strollers? How old were your kiddos when you quit?

We didn't use a stroller much with our youngest. He just wasn't a stroller kind of kid. He either wanted to walk or be carried.

Of course - Disney World is a whole different can of tomatoes. We used a stroller last year at Disney. We might get one for certain days on this trip too.

How long you use a stroller totally depends on your child. Some kids (like my oldest and middle son) didn't really like to walk long distances so we used a stroller until they were maybe four? Hard to remember.

About the stroller thing.....they changed them!! They are not as long as they were before. I'm assuming due to people tripping over them because they aren't looking. DS's legs weren't technically cramped this time but there is no way we can use one of those next year. Here is a pic....

Yes they are. They are shorter in the front. I'm not sure if they are the same width that they used to be. They look like it but I really have no basis for comparison. The single seemed to be a little shorter on top too. It's hard to figure out how much because ds has also grown like a weed the past year. So the height of the stroller may still be the same and it's just that DS is taller. There is defnitely no more leg room, though. He said he was comfortable and liked it so we got one. But as you can see, there is no way he will fit next time.

And there's no way either of my older two would fit (don't need it for the oldest, but Owen still gets tired walking a lot)!

Those single strollers looks so small... we were planning to rent a single for the week for the boys to take turns or just to haul our stuff around... I'm rethinking that! We might need a double for just one of the boys!

Too funny - dh and I were just discussing what stuff we might be able to sell at the local used kid stuff rummage sale, and dh was wondering about the strollers. (We have 2 - big SUV type and umbrella). He even brought up whether dd would want it if we do go to WDW next year! (My answer - she will definitely want it, but no way am I bringing the SUV with us!)

Oh, and I like the goofy pic!

Hey Irene! We have a couple of cheap strollers in our shed that we can get rid donate. We just need to go through the shed. Waiting for a warm day.

I can't wait until DS2 gets to participate in the Countdown calendars! He's too small right now..but I'm not! I have one at work, that I will started using today! We are driving, so we leave on the 25th and arrive the 27th, bright and early I hope!

disney mail is so much fun!
We made use out of the 30min arcade cards......they are good for 30 minutes of "continous" play. So dh ran from kid to kid swiping the card when they needed it. He got his exercise and the kids had a little fun.
