~ A PTR for a CAMPING Trip That Might Never Be ~ *TR Started (link inside)*

Very cute video of Connor! Breakdancing is an interesting choice of hobbies...but I love it! :cool1:

I love the organizer! Fewer pockets than mine, but they are bigger. It should do the trick nicely! :thumbsup2

Your mention of finding a place for Oreo reminds me I have to do the same for our dog. That's one thing I always leave till the last minute....gonna put that on the to-do list right now! :goodvibes

WOO-HOO!! A Disney Box!! :cheer2:

January is such a great time to be at WDW. :thumbsup2 Let me know if there's anything about the resort you'd like a picture of.

We used to go all the time in Jan when we were kids. It was nice weather (MUCH better than cold Ohio) and low crowds. Low crowds and better weather will keep my dad and DH happy and hopefully will help with less meltdowns since we shouldn't have much of a heat factor.

Thanks - he keeps me laughing, that boy! :goodvibes

Glad I could be a reminder to you. ;)

I have no idea where he learned the breakdancing! :rotfl:

I found I had so much more energy during our January trip since I wasn't so hot. And the lower crowds was definitely a plus.

So how'd the Amish bread turn out? I'd love to have taken one of the starter bags if I were still up there!

Aww, great to see the pics from last years trip. You had a great time. :)

San Diego sounds very cool!!! I know you'll be ok with the single parenting.

What happened with the pin auction??

Nice organizer and Disney box! :teeth:

Connor is too funny! :rotfl:

Carissa,
It was great reliving your trip again, the pictures of your Dad made me chuckle again.

Earthquakes are nothing out here just ask KAR (Webbi) and Cheryl :rotfl2:

Do you all remember I purchased those pins through ebay and then got an email saying it had been cancelled? Well, I was just looking at my checking account and I see that the amount was taken from paypal. I just emailed the owner to see if she has anything to say. If I don't hear from her, what am I suppose to do? Contact ebay?

E-bay encourages you to work it out with the Seller, if you just can't do it then notify them. I would also let PayPal know that you need to dispute the charges.

Tomorrow is the day I actually make the bread! Day 6 I added milk, sugar, and flour. It's smelling mighty ripe! :rotfl: I'll post about it once it's done. (I've been taking pictures along the way.)

I haven't heard anything back from the owner. I'm not sure how long I'm suppose to give her to see if she actually sends something. I doubt she will.

Yeah, right!

I hate having to deal with this. Hadn't thought about notifying Pay Pal. I will do that tomorrow. :thumbsup2

LOL! Well I am mighty curious as to how it's going to taste! :scratchin

Yes, I know they have the shelf above the sinks, but no counter around the sinks. My goal is to TRY and stay as organized as possible in our room and then maybe I won't notice how small it is. :rotfl:

You're on the right track!:thumbsup2 When we stayed at POR in May I brought an organizer similar to the one you just got. I hung it on the "closet" bar which is by the sink. I was able to put hair brushes, tooth brushes, and all of our toiletries in the different pockets to have them handy and neat at any given time. Worked really well!!

Me too! But, I think it'll taste good. :thumbsup2

I'm a stay at home mom - y'all know that. Because of my very unexciting life, it doesn't take much to make my day. Mail time has always been the highlight of my days. When I hear the mailman drop the lid on my mailbox, the curiousity of what might be in there begins to pump through my veins. Could I receive a letter from a long lost friend? Perhaps I've won a contest that I don't even remember entering! Maybe I'm being sued for that time in Australia when I...

Oh never mind.

You get the idea. Mail time = happiness. It's that simple.

So, imagine my EXTREME happiness yesterday when I received not one, but TWO special items in my box. :cheer2:

The first was blue. Bet you can guess what it was. ::yes::

It was from Disney World and it was personalized! I thought that was very cool. Since we've never stayed on property before, we've never received one of these special blue envelopes. Our trip was already beginning to feel super special. :goodvibes My question is, when will I actually receive the information on our booking at POR and the dining plan??? :confused3 Now, I'm not trying to be greedy. I appreciate the little piece of pixie dust that arrived at my door in the form of a pretty blue package. pixiedust: I just want a bit more.

After my excitement had settled a bit, I moved on to the next envelope to open. It was pretty big!

Do you know who it was from??? Do you know what was inside???

It was all brand new maps from Heidi (MRYPPNS)!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks again Heidi! :wave2:

I wonder what might be in the mail today. pixiedust:

I had that job for a few years, and I loved it! It was the best job ever!! How lucky you are!!!

Congratulations on getting some fun mail. :cool1:

do you get excited about bills too??:confused3 Cause if you do, then you can have mine!:rotfl:

It is a pretty decent gig. I'd like a raise though. :thumbsup2

:rotfl: No - but luckily I rarely get a bill in the mail since most of our stuff is paid automatically or online.

**Disclaimer**

PLEASE! DO NOT start mailing me your bills!

Hurray for cool Disney mail!!!

I love getting mail, too. During the summer I am always at the mailbox as soon as the mail person drives away. :rotfl:

Being a stay-at-home mom myself, I totally get why you feel the way you do about mail time! I feel exactly the same way...except now when it's 10 degrees outside and my mailbox is at the end of the driveway I send one of the boys to get it instead! I haven't received any blue Disney mail yet....:sad1:

Oooh...side note! I finally got to Target today to get my Disney $ goodies! YAY! Thanks for the heads-up!

You're welcome, but you can thank winkers. :goodvibes Will there be pictures??? :hyper:

I know what you mean about the mail!:rotfl:

I think you'll get your actual trip documents about 3 0r 4 weeks before the trip.

Ahhh... so you're the one who beat me out for Heidi's park maps! But that's OK - I'm sure I have maps around here somewhere...

Hey Carisa,
Pm me you addresse I will send you something special! :thumbsup2
I use to be the same way. The cold weather sure does not help being a SAHM. Least if it was warm you could go outside. :goodvibes
I too use to like mail, that is until it all I get is bills. I enjoy free samples way too much. I like that those diseny docs too. It is neat they have your name on them, and tell you about your resort. Have you ordered the personlized maps?

Sorry Amy! How about I send you a postcard while I'm in Disney World?? I know you'll be there shortly after us. :goodvibes

Now you have me all excited! :hyper: I love the free samples! I use to frequent the budget board and the freebies thread. Haven't done that in a long time. I got some great stuff through that!

I got the personalized maps before, but not recently. I should do that.
