Day 2 - Part 4
Happy Haunts, Yo Ho a Pirates Life for me
I had started to feel really bad.

I am not sure what it was if it was the aggravation from the tour group people or the heat or a combination of both. I told DH we had to get out of the heat for a few minutes. I usually don’t complain a lot even if I feel bad, DH immediately took one look at me and agreed I needed to sit some place cool for a minute. He said I looked like I was going to pass out. To be honest I was dizzy but I didn’t tell him then….He would have made me go back to the resort and I wasn’t ready to leave yet. I know I am stubborn. We went to the Columbia Harbor House and got some cold drinks and went upstairs (thanks to the Disboards I knew that it would be less crowded than the downstairs. ) IT was all but deserted up there! It was just us another family and one other couple. We got a table overlooking Fantasy Land.
It was exactly what I needed. I felt a hundred times better

, and was ready for more. We headed to the Haunted Mansion, there was a 10 minute wait but we really didn’t wait that long. This was one of my favorite attractions the whole trip. I loved it! DH loved it as well.
Next up we headed to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The wait was posted as 20 minutes but we waited about 10. I did like this but I am a big roller coaster person and did wish that there were more drops. However this was just DH’s speed. This is his idea of a roller coaster, one that doesn’t go really fast or have many drops. He is not a thrill seeker. I didn’t get any pics here at this time. I think that my memory card was getting full and I knew that I had quite a bit more as we were staying all day. We thought about riding Splash Mountain but we didn’t want to get wet right then. We were both thirsty so we stopped for some drinks and decided to have a Mickey Bar….Mmmmm it was good.
After our snack we headed to Adventure Land. There was only a 5 minute wait for Pirates so we headed in. We both enjoyed Pirates and were singing “Yo ho, yo ho a pirates life for me,” for the rest of the evening. We looked in the gift shop a little and I spotted, pirate Mickey ears. Now I had originally planned on getting the classic Mickey ears but after seeing these in person decided that these were the ears that I wanted. We didn’t buy them yet though.
Even though the Jungle Cruise had a 20 minute wait we decided to wait. We actually waited 20 minutes this time. The line moved really slow. Our guide “Skipper Adam” was pretty funny though. After doing the safari though I kind of thought that this paled in comparison. But I am glad that we got to experience it. However I don’t think that I would stand in line very long to do it again.
