Okay, I decided there couldn't be very many hospitals in Norman and found them on the first try.
They are doing okay. Amy's chicken pox is much better and starting to heal. The infection in her ankle still isn't under control though. They did some additional tests tonight and are trying another antibotic. They've had several different Drs working to find the best treatment. They also had a bone scan to verify that the infection hasn't settled in the bone and will have the results of that tomorrow.
With all the tests Melissa hasn't left the hospital today. They don't have any estimates of when they will be going home. That won't be decided until the infection is under control.
She said Amy's main concern is getting back to dancing, so hopefully there will be no damage to muscle or anything that will prevent her from being back on her toes pretty quickly
They are thankful for the prayers and thoughts and will be "talking" to us again when they can.
Glad to hear an update, sorry she's still suffering though. Boy, that is one BAD case of chicken pox! Scary for Amy, I'm sure. Poor thing. {{HUGS}} for both of them.
