I have 2 adult and one child tickets at the cheaper rate from undercover tourist that I bought for our vacation and was able to get into the YES program and bought tickets through it instead. I didn't know if there was a board for that here or if anyone know of a good place to do that through. THANKS!

I think they refund them if they're completely unused and the package is not opened at all. Otherwise, you can just hang onto them for a future trip, since reselling them isn't allowed (or advised).

Why isn't reselling them allowed if its at ticket value? I take a 5% hit from undercover tourist for returns so that's why I was hoping to sell them to someone instead since it will save them money too!

You *can* re-sell them, but most DIS-ers advise newbies NOT to buy re-sale tickets because most people can't prove they're unused. In your case, if they are still sealed from UT, you might have better luck, however I would not expect to get face value for them. People looking at Disney tickets won't take a risk on them for close to face value - they'd rather pay full price and know they're getting new, unused tickets. Your best chance at getting anywhere close to full price is to sell them to a friend that knows and trusts you and you can mutually agree to help each other out. Otherwise, I think that you'd lose less money by returning them to UT than reselling them.

It is specifically against the rules to sell things on this board or to have for sale posts so there is not a place to do that here.

The problem is the person buying them from you has no way to know if they are unused. We also had someone report that the person they sold to used the tickets and told paypal that they were not good and had it refunded by paypal.

Why someone would take the risk to buy them for such little savings.:confused3

That makes sense! I guess I didn't realize you couldn't tell if the tickets had been used or not.

Hang onto your tickets. Ticket prices tend to increase a little every year, so just consider this an investment in future vacations. :)
