Okay, my DD and my DH have this on the top of their 'to do' list. I've had a look on the board and have some great info to give them (that's disboarders!)...but I have a question:

So there are 5 adventures, each with their own map...am I going to have to do all 5 twice to get a map for each of my 'children' because they have decided that they both want the maps? :rotfl2:

Also, is there a cast member in the room to help send us on our way?

Thanks

The CMs don't mind if each person has their own map. There is a CM there to help you out.

Each guest can do their own adventure, but you cannot choose which map you start with. My family (three of us) each had out own game and two of us got the same map. So, if you do play two versions of the game simultaneously, just note that you may be playing two different adventures. Also, the game has no "memory" (according to the CM, I asked), so if you do not finish all five adventures in one day, you have to start over the next day and you may end up repeating maps. That seemed kind of odd to me (given that you use your MagicBand to sign up), but that's what the CM at the "recruitment" station said.

I am really out of the loop. What is this attraction?
It's not an attraction per se. It's more like Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom. Guests sign up at the recruitment center and receive a map. You follow the clues on the map to various locations in Adventureland. When you finish one map, you go back to the center and get the next map.

I'm sorry you had CM's who did not give you correct info. They could have easily overridden the system to give you a new adventure so you didn't have to repeat. My DS and I have played this multiple times. You can play as a team, so you can all do the adventure together (you will be doing the adventure off of one MB, however) and they will let you have multiple maps. If there is a particular adventure you want to do or if the system generates one you have already done on a previous day, simply tell a CM and they can override the system and give you whatever adventure you want to do.

Oh my goodness, thanks! I feel a weight lift from my shoulders. Not having to do the 5 twice is perfect...and they can both have their maps. sheesh! LOL

The CMs can select a particular raid for you, but if you want to see the grand finale, you have to do all 5 of them in one day.

That's good to know! I'll keep that in mind for my next trip (assuming they're still doing the Pirates Adventure game).
