Hello all! My name is Emily and I’m currently planning my 14th trip to Disney World. I thought I’d try a trip report this time to pass some time! I’m planning a very Pirate-y, Christmas-y, 4th Birthday trip for my son. This trip is kind of a “do-over” because he spent our last trip (Sept. 2015) sick with a double ear infection and we had to skip/cancel a lot of our plans.

· Emily – that’s me! I’m a lifelong Disney kid at heart. My favorite movies are Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, and Tangled. My favorite ride is Haunted Mansion.

· Jack – my son, who will be about five weeks shy of his 4th birthday. This is his sixth trip. He loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Doc McStuffins, Cars, Planes, and The Incredibles. His favorite rides are Buzz Lightyear and Haunted Mansion, and he loves the “balloon” parade (Festival of Fantasy).

· Aunt Kaytee – my sister and Jack’s favorite person. She will be occasionally joining us when not working. She is a CM, TM (Universal), and Model Citizen (Legoland).

· Our dates are November 29th – December 4th, 2016. We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort.

I'm currently brainstorming ideas on surprising him with the trip!

11/29 – Arrival Day

Disney’s Magical Express to CBR

We have a water view room booked, and I am hoping for Martinique 24. We’re planning a late lunch at the Old Port Royal food court.

Then, it’s off to Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! We currently have the Holiday Wishes Dessert Party booked, but I am still on the fence about it. I’ll update later with Fastpasses once they are made. We are planning to attend the second parade and last castle show of the evening.

11/30 – EPCOT

We have a pre-park opening ADR at Garden Grill, which I am so excited about!

I hope my son is tall enough to ride Test Track (1.25 inches to go!) by this time. We’re planning to Fastpass Frozen Ever After, but unsure of the other two. We’re also going to meet Baymax and see some of the Storytellers. We have a Biergarten lunch Candlelight Processional Dinner Package booked and I am SO, SO excited the narrator is Neil Patrick Harris! I’m really hoping we can stick around for IllumiNations – I haven’t seen it in years and my son never has.

12/1 – Magic Kingdom – Pirates!

I’m trying to find a pre-park opening Be Our Guest so we can ride Seven Dwarves Mine Train first. I’m again hoping Jack is tall enough to try BTMRR and Splash. We’ll see! This is our Pirate day! We have Pirates League booked, as well as a Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise! He is going to love this day! We’re eating dinner at the Skipper Canteen.

12/2 – Animal Kingdom

For some reason, I just can’t get into AK. We have Tusker House booked for lunch and hopefully will be able to ride Dinosaur. I’m also planning to see Nemo and the Lion King, ride Safari, and a few other things. This is the only day I have a midday break planned to swim at CBR. We’ll be back for the Jungle Book show in the evening (hoping for Rivers of Light, though!).

12/3 - ???

This is our mystery day. I have a loose plan for Hollywood Studios, but we’ll most likely spend our day wherever Kaytee is working to visit her (we try to do this once each trip). It might be Legoland or Universal, so we just have to wait until her schedule is posted (mid-November?) to see.

12/4 - Departure Day :sad1:

Thanks for posting this. I am planning our first WDW trip for when our son is 4, so your plans are of Great interest to me!
For your pirate day, are you planning to do the pirate tutorial as well, or would it be too much for a preschooler. I had read that there is a pirate parade at 4 pm with all the people who had been to the Pirates League, but I can't find it again. Wondering if that has been discontinued.

You said that you can't get into AK. Why not go to HS that day, and see Jake either at Hollywood and Vine or at Disney Jr Live?

Very interested in everything you are doing!
