I want your secrets on getting a nice place to live 5 minutes from manhattan! We live in brooklyn and its slim pickin's for apartments (of which we are praying for a nice 1br).

We are off to DL in about 5 weeks and I'm so excited...I can't wait to read about your trip too to help me get in the mood! We got back from Vegas a few weeks ago too--it's sooooo awesome there U will lvoe it! See Zumanity or any of the Cirque shows if you can and beware the time share people!

I grew up in Wall twp. then when I got married we bought a house on the Brick/ Pt. Pleasant border. Two years ago we moved here to knoxville TN, but we do miss the north and the Beach alot.

Hi guys!!! Here I am in Anaheim!

The wedding was PERFECT! Honestly it couldn't have been nicer. It was like a fairytale. Everything went perfect and Jeremy and I can both say it was the happiest day of our lives. Unfortunatly the photographer hasn't given us any of the pictures yet and I didn't get any pictures with my camera that day as I was completely overwhelmed and not thinking of things like that. I know all of the pictures will be given to us within the month but I think we should get the digital ones pretty soon so I'll let you guys know.

We arrived in LA with only 2 hours of sleep so our first day was pretty uneventful. We made in on the Monsters Inc ride which was really cute then went back to the hotel and crashed for a couple hours only to make it up to go see the fireworks which are AMAZING. They start out like Wishes but then go into entirely different sequences. I LOVED them.

Yesterday was much better because we actually got some sleep! We woke up early and grabbed breakfast at Mimi's (yumm) and headed over to Disneyland. We rode the new Space Mountain which was AWESOME. Conquered a lot of the rides at both parks (obviously will do a much more extensive TR when we got back). Highlights included Alice in Wonderland and Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin. Ate dinner at Napa Rose which was a cross between California Grill and Artist Point (portions definitely CA like! People watch their weight here even more than I do ).

Now for those of you who haven't been to California and have heard about the California sunshine...they don't mean nice warming rays. They mean, sweltering, boil the skin off of you kind of sunshine.

I was unaware.

This is exceptionally pertinent because I am prone to heat strokes.

The last two days it has been over 100 degrees!!! What kind of place is this?!

To avoid the heat we've been getting up very early every morning and making it to park opening therefore getting out in the mid afternoon and trying to go back in the evening. This is somewhat difficult however as the park closes at 8PM.

Regardless, we've having a great time. Here's a few more pics for everyone and can't wait to write a detailed report!

(A cone for each hand is absolutely necessary in this heat
