A Pink Pixie Princess - Complete!

I thought that's what it meant too. :thumbsup2 Glad someone else is reading it the same way! My whole reasoning for singing up for Princess/Tink was to get the pink C2C but I would love that 10th anniversary one, too!! :yay:
Hopefully you will. That 10th anniversary Coast to Coast is really nice. Glad to hear training was acceptable. I caught a cold 2 weeks before the 2012 Wine & Dine 1/2 and was concerned about what that might do to my run. I've come to learn that the best way to build up confidence in finishing these events after inconvenient setbacks is experience finishing them after the setbacks.

While the Tinker Bell theme holds little appeal to me, these medals do fit very nicely together. My favorite animated film is Sleeping Beauty, but I've resigned myself to the fact that I probably won't be running Princess ever because it falls in February which is a terrible time to take off work. At least for Dark Side, it takes place after the big deadline, so I only have to worry about training while working 10 hour days instead of training and taking so much time off.

Glad your hip is feeling better & you were able to get a couple runs in. Your dog looks so serious, it's cute! Yeah, you'll get the 10th coast to coast & pink coast to coast medals at Tink. The grey part it seems is if just doing Princess & Tink if they'll get both again (like if just the 2 star wars races & get both again). You have 2 east coast & 1 west coast so you are good for both.

Have fun on your Princess trip, I'll be stalking social media posts!

Glad your hip is improving! Yay for a few runs! You've got this!! Nails are super cute! Oh and I stinking loooove those cable knit capris!!!!!

Sounds like solid improvement and glad to hear the second 2-miler went well. Great that your hip is doing better. I know you aren't where you would have liked to be for Princess, but I'm sure you will still do great and most importantly enjoy yourself and enjoy Disney!!

I love the lotus shirt with the blue cable capris. I have to share that I finally picked up a pair of the cable tights from the ISO. I've been wanting those for a long time. They are supposed to arrive tomorrow!!

And, while I'm soooooo curious what that mystery box is, I just couldn't bring myself to spend the money on it. Did you order one? ROD or Spring?

Glad your hip is feeling better! Hope your last two runs go well! Jealous of you for next weekend (especially the medals...to me they look cooler than last year) and hoping it goes well for you.
Me too! It's still feeling good today so I am happy about that!

Thanks!!

Yeah, at this point, I know that I CAN finish, I'm just worried that I'll be sucking wind/hurting the entire time because I'm not in the shape that I wanted to be. At least I'll be at Disney, though, and at least it's not a marathon!

I am surprised by how much I like the Tink medals!

It's hard with Princess, too, because what if they don't announce the theme before registration? You wouldn't want to register and then have it not be the Princess you were hoping for...but it sounds like with your schedule it's a moot point anyway.

Wow, 10-hour work days?! I have enough trouble training with my 8-hour days! :faint:
Glad your hip is feeling better & you were able to get a couple runs in. Your dog looks so serious, it's cute!
He ALWAYS looks like that! :rotfl2: We're working on training a little more with him, so I guess he technically was "working" when I took that picture ("sit and stay") but yeah, he's got a serious face. :lovestruc

Ah - good! That makes sense. Gimme that bling, Disney!!

AHHH me too. I'm so glad I got a few runs in before leaving to shake off some of the cobwebs!

I love those capris too - I have the full-length tights in grey from a few years ago and I had been hinting* all over social media that a blue version would be pretty awesome and lo and behold, my Christmas wish came true this year with the blue capris! :yay:

*hinting = frequently whining :upsidedow

Me too! Obviously a 2-miler is still WAY far away from completing a half, but the fact that it went okay + having done Dopey a few weeks ago makes me hope it'll be okay!

AHHH yay!! I LOVE those tights! They popped back on the website briefly a little over a year ago and I snagged them, but that was before I'd really figured out my sizing and it turned out they were 1 size too big. I got my correct size from the ISO about 6 months ago! :yay: They are soooo awesome! I hope you love yours.
And, while I'm soooooo curious what that mystery box is, I just couldn't bring myself to spend the money on it. Did you order one? ROD or Spring?
I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I ordered both! :upsidedow I have been selling my Disney bags (just sold my last Dooney last night! No more Dooneys for me!) and I had a healthy PayPal balance as a result...healthy enough to pay for both boxes and still have money left over. Initially I went for Spring only and then went back later for RoD. I hope I love everything, if not, I hope I can sell what I don't love!

I still sort of can't believe I ordered both. And I'm really curious to know if this is the price point we can expect for future quarterly boxes...I hope not!

What? No more Dooney's??? ;) Actually though it's great that you had enough from the sale of those to get both boxes. I'm so curious about them, so can't wait to see what is in them. I'm figuring if they get revealed and there's something I really want that maybe I can hop on the ISO quickly and pick one up. Surely there will be lots of goodies in there for the cost! Did you end up getting the last mystery box with the lounge wear stuff? I actually thought the design was really pretty, but I don't think I'd ever end up wearing something like that so I was glad I resisted the temptation to order.

No more Dooneys. I actually haven't liked the new ones that have been coming out lately (OMG so many new ones!! They are cranking them out) and I am just afraid to actually use them because I've seen pictures of bags getting ruined from color transfer from clothes, or the leather corners getting dirty (especially that light-colored leather they seem to use ALL the same - like the leather that is on the Tink bags). And they're pricey! I couldn't believe the price of the Tink crossbody bags...they seem really small and they're almost $300! I would have thought they would be closer to $200.

I did get the lounge set, but I ended up returning it. :( I thought it was so pretty, and the clothes did feel really comfortable on, but cut/size of the top was crazy unflattering on me...it was huge and I thought it made me look huge. Looking at the model on the website I think that's just how it's supposed to be, but I DID NOT like how it looked on me. I really liked the pants a lot, but they were a few inches too long on me, and I felt like I couldn't wear them without constantly worrying that they would get snagged. I was so relieved/grateful when they announced they were taking returns! I totally get what they were going for but it just did not work for me!

That was the first mystery item I have gotten that didn't work out for me, so I have high hopes for the boxes! Already starting to wonder what they will do for April Fool's this year...:scratchin

The flower sneak-peak inside the question mark intrigued me greatly (blue flowers...with a lil green...yes, please) but then I saw the price tag and I balked. So we may both be hitting up the ISO if anything is good.
I for sure would jump on the pattern they used for that lounge wear set if it came out in a tech tee or like a tank...very pretty!

If someone can convince them to make a matching skirt for the cherry blossom that would be ideal. Especially if it can arrive prior to May. Otherwise I'm gonna be DIYing something :)

I am READY for more skirts!! ::yes::

I hope we see the lounge set pattern again in something else, it really is very pretty. Especially the pants!

Now I have Hotline Bling in my head, and this is not a bad thing. ::yes::

Not at all! I actually went to see him play in London a few weeks ago!

And I am mostly packed, so that's exciting! I also tried out some Belle-inspired nails, and I think this is what I'm going with...sort of a Christmas Belle and not really a classic Belle, but whatever!

Love the nails!

Aw you must be so excited... the weekend is almost here!!

Glad to hear the hip is feeling better.. at least that will give you some peace of mind!

Are your girlfriends excited? I bet it'll be a different experience going with friends. I've got my first Disney trip with friends in 3 weeks (DLP) and although they are aware of how I feel about Disney it's different taking them to the parks!

I ended up changing them. I forgot that the red and gold polish chips like crazy. :( So now I have more of a GSC-inspired thing going on:

I am!! I have just today at work and then I leave tomorrow. Just checked in for my flight. :hyper:
Glad to hear the hip is feeling better.. at least that will give you some peace of mind!
It is almost totally fine, it just stiffens up a bit sometimes after driving. But otherwise it hasn't been bothering me...I'm going to try to be extra good about stretching it and hopefully that will help!

They are! I think they each have been to Disney maybe once or twice...so far they are impressed by my planning skills. :) I hope that they have fun and don't think I'm too much of a freak by the end of it!

DLP with friends should be pretty awesome! I totally know what you mean about it being different actually taking people to the parks with you. I hope you guys do a TR or some vlogs (as I am off to watch your YouTube channel).

That sound you hear is me dropping everything and running to my day planner to add "disney inspired manicure for race" on my packing list.
I really just did that.

I'm excited for you and you are gonna do great!!!

I actually tried to get an appointment somewhere to get something a little fancier but they were booked up. I have an appointment made for the week before Tink though! Priorities...:rotfl2:
I'm excited for you and you are gonna do great!!!
Thaaaaankssssss!

Also - your post about changes to your Tink training yesterday was very timely as I am starting to think about my own Tink training, so thanks for that! :yay:

I'd be SO HAPPY for you right now if I wasn't so jealous... PROMISE o_O

Ye I bet that will help and also the fact that you're going to be moving around in parks and not letting it get stiff will probably help too

Yes, they'll appreciate it even more when it comes to skipping lines with fastpasses etc! I was a bit worried about our trip last year with the parents (I FINALLY finished that TR today... it's literally taken me a year but it was 18 days in fairness haha) I thought they might not like certain parts of it like the character interactions or how planned out everything was but they were so much fun and they got completely swept up it in too so that was awesome and they also appreciated the planning because we had nice food and good fastpasses...

I hope so! I was debating writing a TR for the Paris Rundisney trip but I think I will, there's not a lot of info available for it. Aw thank you!! We enjoy doing the YouTube vlogs and it's so much fun editing them and reliving the memories! Our Orlando ones are not the best (first time vloggers and all that) but I think by Paris we were a bit better at it lol There is only a few more videos going up from January 2016 and then I'll start uploading the Aug/Sept Orlando ones which should be a lot better! Thanks for checking it out :D

May I suggest a really long run on 2/26? I think that would be a good place to start

They aren't perfect, but they'll do!

Um, I TOTALLY get that. I have that feeling every time a runDisney race weekend comes around that I am not participating in!!

Yes! I am sure you are right about that. ::yes::

Yeah, I'm not sure what they will think of character interactions or shows or stuff like that. :scratchin They did tell me some of their ride preferences so I was able to make some decent fastpasses, and I sent them the ADRs I made and one of them said I did a great job of getting a good variety of places, so I think we're looking good so far!

Okay but where?? :scratchin

Love the final nail choice!!! I can't believe you are leaving tomorrow. So jealous and excited for you!

Haha! We started them a while ago but I just posted them on here recently (in my TR).. Myself and Rachel because obsessed with Disney Haul videos on youtube and then vlogs and so we decided to start our own channel. We're definitely not pros at it but we had fun!
