I'm enjoying reading your posts. But may I ask what are mousekeeper envelopes and what do you use them for?
you to the Dis Boards! Thank you for joining in on my report.
I don't take medicine for cholesterol. It's the one medicine that I don't take.
I know every medicine that I take and that isn't one of them.
.
Now, understand that I've had issues with this girl before. Well, I started laughing and she asked me what was so funny. I basically told her that she has the wrong medicine. She assured me that she didn't. I told her again that I didn't take that kind of medicine. She told me to hold and didn't bother to put me on hold. Then told me I was right.
What? Seriously? You have to be kidding me.I know every medicine that I take and that isn't one of them.
This isn't the first time that she's made a mistake like this. The last time really ticked me off. I had a mammogram and she called me and told me that everything was fine with it. Well, about three days later the radiologists office called to set up an appointment for another mammogram. Needless to say I was upset. Well, I called the office and told them what happened and of course they said that she didn't do it. Okay, so I made it all up.
Uhhh... she could really create a serious issue for a patient with her mis-information (to put it nicely.) You may want to consider writing a letter to the doctor letting him/her know that their office staff are putting the practice in jeopardy of a serious quality of care issue. Insurance companies don't look too kindly at office staff that impede care of misinform patients and end up paying for treatment that was un-necessary or worse! (sorry, end of my rant!) Anyhooo... I wish you the best if you need to doctor shop!
We got a letter on Monday saying that they aren't taking our insurance anymore. All I can say is that after today's little fiasco I'm done with this doctor's office. This girl has no idea what she's doing and one day she's going to call in the wrong medicine and something bad is going to happen.
Now for my latest on the trip.....
My husband is driving me crazy over the snacks on the dining plan!! I can hear you asking why. So, I shall tell you!
We've talked about this a few times and I thought I had him convinced of this. Well, apparently I thought wrong.
I was explaining to him on the way to work this morning that we need to use our snack credits wisely. Because a $2.50 soda or water is a bad use of the credit. You would have thought that I slapped him. LOL!
He told me that it isn't and why should he pay for a water or a soda when he can use a snack credit. I tried to explain to him that you can get a sundae that costs $4.79 with that same credit. It's a much better deal!
Then he tells me that he doesn't eat sundaes. Since when? Oh whatever.... I'm going to sit down and show him what I'm talking about and if he says anything different I give up. LOL!!
That's so my husband. He would say uhhhh I don't want a snack, I want a water so I'm not "saving" you any $ by using a credit for a more expensive item. They just don't understand the Disney math!!
I'm mad for you on the whole doctor's office situation! Finding a good doctor is hard ... finding a good doctor with a good staff is even harder. I hope you are able to find another one you like that has staff that respects their patients!
Don't get me wrong - I used to work for a doctor and I know how overworked and overwhelming the atmosphere is ... but what happened to you is inexcusable!

It's one thing to make a mistake in that position -- as BearCatsFan said, high pressure environment -- but arguing with a patient instead of going back to double check is NOT the right response. She's on the phone with them already; double checking should not be costing her so much time she can't do it. She is never going to improve with the attitude that her patients don't know what they're talking about -- even people who have only the vaguest idea of what's going on with their health, generally know what pills they're taking!
Happy Saturday! How's the walking going?Happy Saturday! How's the walking going?
Happy Saturday to you too!! The walking is going good. Went for a short walk yesterday because of some storms rolling in and DH and I are going for a walk today.
How's it going with you?
Glad to hear it's going well for you! Me? I'm just plugging along!
finally he sees something my way. LOL!
Did you check out the cake thread here and get some ideas?
I am glad your fears about flying have eased up some. And you're absolutely right - thousands of people fly every day, and nothing happens, it's a totally safe flight!
So happy your TA is helping to arrange a cake for you.Did you check out the cake thread here and get some ideas?
Hope everything is going well for you!![]()

At least we won't have to pay full price for the extra days ticket. LOL!!
I hope it is healed up soon.
The most we've ever managed is two!So glad to hear your ankle isn't broken.I hope it is healed up soon.
I think the 4-parks-in-a-day tradition sounds like fun!The most we've ever managed is two!
As far as a different ADR than Cape May ... what is available for that night?
So, I realized today that I'm going to have to do FOTLK. Why? It's apparently going away to make room for the Avatar area.
Also glad to hear you didn't break any bones in your ankle!
Do you hit your favorite rides, or are there specific rides that are part of the tradition, or how does that work, exactly?
) and location, yet totally different experience. Have you been to the Flying Fish before?Wow. I guess we'd better make an effort to get to that as well. If it's even still there when we go!
Glad to hear the flying fear is fading. Also glad to hear you didn't break any bones in your ankle!
Can't imagine doing four parks in one day.Do you hit your favorite rides, or are there specific rides that are part of the tradition, or how does that work, exactly?
I like replacing Cape May with Flying Fish. Similar theme (well, in the vaguest sense of theme) and location, yet totally different experience. Have you been to the Flying Fish before?
That's ridiculous, it's pretty much the most awesome show in Disney!!!!!!!
