Ouch! Sorry about your ankle, I hope it is feeling better already. I'm known for not watching where I'm going and I can't count how many times I've run into this one short cubicle wall in my office.... it's a joke now that anyone who sees me blurts out "work comp!"

FF sounds like a wonderful place to dine - especially if you are trying some firsts this visit. I hear such great reviews for that place. Probably a smart move to not risk Cape May - even if it would make for an interesting dining review if you had to make a quick trip to the ER we don't want to see that happen!!

I've thought about having a totally commando day where we do 4 parks in 1 day but no one from my family is up for that! Hmph! Apparently sleeping in is valued above getting an early start at the parks.

I am far from caught up, but just wanted to say sorry about your ankle. I swear, one of these days I am going to trip over one of my cats and have a serious fall. I get the whole tripping over a dog bone.

It's unfortunate that when doctors offices have bad receptionists, it colors the whole practice. I find that reason enough to switch.

So glad buddy seems to be getting better. I hate when my fur babies are sick the fact they can’t talk makes it so much worst.

We love the FOTLK but aren’t big fans of the Nemo show. I am not too exited about Avatar land I wish they would be doing something different.

It sounds like you are all ready to fly now! How sweet of DH take you there so you can check it out. I step on my dogs bones all the time. I am convince I have to teach them to put them back on the toy basket once they are done. I am glad you ankle is not broken.

I've always been a klutz. LOL! Either twisting my ankle or running into things. I can't tell you how many times I have run into walls. LOL! It's pretty embarrassing!

My DS and DH are commandos to. Although my son is a bit less so since he's gotten older, but he still knows that when we are at Disney it's commando all the way. LOL!!

Thanks for the wishes on my ankle. I have tripped over a lot of my dogs stuff. I gave myself a blood blister on my big toe once because I kicked his knuckle bone. Talk about hurting. I saw starts for a bit. LOL!!

I started packing basics. Like my gift cards and my shirts that I had done. I still have a LOT left to pack.

Buddy is definitely getting better. He is walking much better. i know that he will be glad when he is able to finally stop having to be muzzled.

I'm rather annoyed tonight.

Why? I shall tell you why. Well, I'm worried about our early morning ADR's. I have a few scheduled for breakfast. Well, I'm worried about the buses running to the parks. I have some of my ADR's for 8:05 in the morning. Now, I've read that the Disney buses start running an hour before park opening. So, if the park opens at 9, then the buses will start running at 8. That's definitely not going to work with my ADR's.

I don't want to get charged no show fees. I emailed my TA and am waiting to hear back from her. I'm in my panic mode.

We decided against renting a car and are going to be using Disney transportation only. So this is why I'm panicked.

I'm sure that others are in the same boat, but I'm just freaking out.

DH is getting annoyed with me. I'm getting annoyed with myself.

Still waiting to hear back from my TA on the cake. I think I should have done it myself.

I think it's that time of the month for me. Because everything that everyone does is just annoying me tonight. I think I'm just going to go to bed and maybe I'll have answers in the morning.....

I've never done early A.M. ADRs, but from what I gather you are right - the buses start running 1 hour prior to park opening. Any way you could maybe get some later times?

I did hear back from her this morning. Well, actually late last night.

This was what she told me. I copied it from the email that she sent me.

Great question! You will need to touch base with your resort concierge upon check in to see how your resort handles this. Sometimes they have a bus come for you and sometimes they personally drive you. Do not worry though they will make sure you get there. We do 8AM reservations all of the time and we always have been able to take the bus.

So maybe it won't be so bad. We are an early morning rope drop kind of family, so we like to do early morning ADR's.

Thanks for the hugs. I know that everything will be fine, but I need to not stress over everything. I know that tons of people have early ADR's and they use Disney transportation and they get there fine.

Plus reading other posts here I've seen that others have been fine.

No news on the cake yet. I'm getting worried and wondering if I shouldn't try and contact them myself. She has been trying to call to see how it's going, but she said that the phone has just been ringing and ringing and no one is picking up.....

Okay, so I'm going to put myself out there and just say one thing: If anyone is going to be at WDW around the same time as us and want to meet us, I would love it! There, I said it. LOL!!

Anyways, I found out that a friend that I've known for years online lives just outside of Orlando. So, we are going to meet at DTD and have dinner together. She is an absolute sweetheart and I can't wait to meet her and her husband.

If only I could make friends in real life as easy as I can online. It's just hard for me. I suffer from a horrible lack of self confidence. Which is weird because I've never been like this before.

I think I mentioned it here, but I got a shirt from the Disney Store by mistake. So, I was looking for someone to send it to. Well, my friend has a little boy who is 5 and it would fit him perfectly. So, I got her address and mailed it out on Wednesday.

So, I wanted to make up a notebook for our vacation. Thank goodness for back to school. LOL! I found a Minnie Mouse spiral notebook and I just had to get it. Chris thought that it was for him at first and he was surprised when I put it at my computer desk. Now I just have to figure out what to write in it. LOL!

DH and I are at odds on the whole Cape May ADR. He really wants to do it. Because he wants to try different kinds of fish. He's not much for experimenting with new stuff, but if it's a buffet then he wants to try it. Can anyone tell me if there are lots of different fish dishes on the buffet? Looking at the menu it's kind of vague.

I don't want to risk a trip to the ER even if it means that DH can try different fish dishes.

Do NOT worry about your breakfast ADR's!!!!! We do early morning breakfasts ALL the time at Disney, and have NEVER rented a car!

Busses to the MK start at 6:30 AM, busses to the other parks start at 7:00 AM. Busses to Downtown Disney start at 8:30 AM. Take a bus to the park that is the closest to the restaurant you will be eating at (I forget where your ADR's are at the moment, but for example, MK for Kona, AK for Boma, etc). The resort monorail starts running at 7:00 AM (for Poly, Contemporary, and GF). The Epcot monorail starts running at 8:00 AM. The boat launches from the MK start at 8:00 AM. The Friendship boats (for the Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk, Swan, and Dolphin) start around an hour before park opening, usually around 8:00 AM.

I know that I've seen the buses run early in the past, but couldn't remember how early. 6:30 or 7 should give us plenty of time to get to the ADR's!! Thanks again!!

You could use the suggestions from the Vacation Memory Book on Enchantedlearning:

We do the "trip information", "trip diary" and "after the trip" pages while we're on the trip, and then anything else that sounds good, of course. Really helps when trying to remember what happened when or when writing a Trip Report after.

Passporter has pages a lot like those, although with more detail -- IIRC, it also suggests "best thing/worst thing" kind of stuff ("best thing I ate today" "best thing that happened today", and the like). I would rather write on lined paper, myself, but the suggestions get me putting the pen to paper.

Okay, so I have a few pictures to share. We went shopping for school supplies for Chris and I had to pick up something.

I love it and I love the back of it. It's got Minnie dressed like she's going to school and she's wearing eyeglasses. So cute!!

Then, I unpacked my new Grumpy fleece jacket. I've had it for awhile and decided to take a picture to share:

I like it because it has the same year that I was born on it. I'm not sure if I'm going to wear it to the parks yet or not. I'm just not sure if it's going to be cool enough for it. LOL! I might pack it just in case.

Now for my non-Disney find. I love Angry Birds. Well, I actually like the pigs. They are so cute and funny. So, when I found this I had to grab it!!

I still haven't figured out where we are going to eat on our full day at Disney. I keep looking and looking, but nothing reaches out and grabs me. I think I might just wait until we are there and see what hits us. I forgot that we do have a ADR at T-Rex on the first night at 7. My TA sent me a ADR list and that one was on there. So, I'm happy about that.

I'm looking at eating lunch at one of the parks. Either Epcot or DHS. Personally I would love to do Tokyo Dining. I love, love love Sushi and just reading the menu is making my mouth water!! LOL!!

Yeah, I can't eat shellfish, but I can eat fish and other things. I haven't had good sushi since we moved to Alabama. Did I mention that I love sushi? LOL!!

They have steak and chicken so the pickier eaters in my family will be happy. LOL!! If they decide that they don't want to eat there they can always go grab something else. LOL!! I want some sushi and I want it on vacation!! LOL!!

Glad to hear your ankle is feeling better! No more stepping on bones!

I didn't walk for several days because of the ball of my foot hurting so bad. Picked up the new shoes on Saturday though and got back to walking today. Even jogged for a couple minutes every now and then!!
