Nope, no car. But our hotel is in front of a huge bowling alley and I think we'll probably go there. And they have a hawaiian themed mini golf not too far away if I remember well !!

On our last trip we went to I-Drive at night and boy was it CREEPY ! People laying on the sidewalk listening to loud music and yelling and smoking something that doesn't come in a fancy pack if you see what I mean.. Although what bugged me most were the fake cabs that kept trying to pick us up. I WANT MEARS! lol Seriously those creeped me out. Couldn't wait to go back to the safety of our hotel. I think Disney spoiled us as far as safety is concerned.

I was reading about dining reservations on another thread and it's odd. Although I enjoy not having to pick a restaurant 6 months in advance, I kind of miss the planning part. We decided to have dinner one night in Disney and I let Jessi & Alex pick - they chose 'Ohana. Ugh. And Grumpy wants to go to Boma. Well Boma wasn't too hard to book but I had to try five different nights before I got us something at 'Ohana !! NUTS ! But we'll make a night of it and stay to watch the fireworks from the Poly beach.

Ugh. I'm not too found of Greece right now !!

Just sent 300 euros to my American account and I got $349. Yikessssssssss. Last summer, that would have gotten me something like $420.

We can't really change anything now, as far as dates/hotels go, but we're gonna have to make major cutbacks once we're there. Good thing we chose a room with a kitchen because restaurant meals aren't gonna be an everyday thing. And neither will shopping ! Which I guess makes sense, when you go for such a long time, it's more about having a good time when you're there than how much stuff you can bring back.

Oh yeah, and the fact that I quit my job on Friday isn't gonna help much either. But it was that or get committed, and white just doesn't suit my coloring.

We're leaving in about a month so I'm not looking yet, but I hope I find something soon. Going from 12hr work days to nothing is seriously scary!
I don't regret leaving, especially now that I know more about what was going on in there (people get to talkin' when they know it's safe!!).

Can not wait to be gone, to see Florida again. I wish we could leave early, my sister gets off work on the 10th, but it'd cost us $180 each to change our tickets plus another week of hotel, and the one we booked in NYC is full for the month. Can you tell I've done my homework though

BTW Jessica wanted to do something called the Police Hall of Fame. I have no idea where that thing even is and how to get there! Anyone know??

I was beginning to wonder when you would make your way back to Orlando, I'm glad to see you are staying for so long, that should make for a great trip report!

BTW one of my coworkers won an autographed guitar from Bon Jovi and I immediately thought of you. She was hoping to win backstage passes but actually won the guitar. She had it delivered to work so I got to see it and all I could think of was Marina would love this! I guess I've read too many of your trip reports

OMG !!! She's so lucky !!
Okay so now I just HAVE to tell you about the two concerts I went to this month. First one was in London and I was sooooooo close I could have touched Jon's shoe when he walked around the stage. Second one was in Paris and I was closer to Richie this time, I think he actually laughed at me because these two huge guys got in front of me and I guess from where he was all he could see was two guys and five hands. I saw him looking over those guys and chuckling. Yep I'm back here. Thanks Richie.

Don't be jealous. I'll bring'em over to a DISmeet once Richie realizes I'm the woman of his dreams (any day now).

We'd love to try POR, but for now it's CSR, two rooms at a value, or a Deluxe for us when there's 4 of us. Sharing a queen bed is doable, sharing a double bed... not so much.

Is it horribly bad of me to be sad that you and Jess are getting along and I probably won't be reading anymore "karma is a butterfly" posts? It is really great that her attitude has changed but that was hilarious how you described things in that trip report!
