A No Snooze Bar Christmas, Harry & Mickey are Waiting..it is done

I just love your TR, even if I don't post much:)
First off, your room is marvelous and huge. Love it!
Secondly, Candada is the only part of WS that we didn't see because we ran out of time. I soooo wanted to check it out too. Plus it was dark when we were there so harder to see some of the outdoor things. Wanna go back!

I think you should go back just to visit Canada...great excuse! So when is the next trip looking like happening...I know you have been working on that husband of yours!!!!

Awe that's a good picture of Abby!

I have some pretty nice ones of her throughout the trip. I was just messing around last night with a template I found and thought this picture would be perfect...a girl and her frying pan!

Sounds like y'all enjoyed dinner at least somewhat. How was your Cheesecake that you wanted?

The cheesecake was okay...like all the food nothing amazing but not as bad as a couple of other places we ate at. It probably comes in at about 3rd to last of our places to eat...by far not the worst!

Luvin the update. The scrap book page is cool as well. I love how educational Epcot is and yet it's still fun! I'm not supposed to be learning stuff on holidays though.

Who knew WDW was educational...I thought it was just a theme park! :rotfl2:

We saw the show at the American Pavilion for the first time in many years in 2010 with the boys. Ben is a history buff and appreciated the exhibits and show. Nate, not so much.

Hope that you end up with a decent seating at the CP- we have never been to the World during the holidays, so I really have no idea about how this all works.

The Greatest Story Ever Told, Disney Style

Background Information: The Candlelight Processional is the Nativity Story read by a celebrity narrator set to music by choirs and the singers from the USA along with a live orchestra. There are generally 3 daily showings of the Candlelight Processional (matinee, 6:30 pm & 8:30 pm)...usually the night ones are preferred just because of the dark factor that makes the outside production a little more dramatic. You can go 2 routes with seating...purchase the Dining Package (meal at select restaurants at certain times, for 2 table credits or a set price) which guarantees you a seat during the performance or use the stand by line (which you have to line up for at least 2 hours before time on peak day).

As the line begins to move and people are being seated, I silently hold my breath as we make our way inside. I think the Touring Plan Gods must have been looking out for me after my bad start in Epcot this afternoon because we find a section of seats right in the middle, 2nd row from up from the first section. As we sit down, I find myself giddy about the seats and about the performance we are about to see.

I have not really told the family anything about the Candlelight Processional other than Marilee Martin & Jack are going to be the narrators of the Christmas Story.

Jeff, being his normal self, strikes up a conversation with the people sitting next to him…only to find out they are from the same general area where we live! As the lights dim and the choir makes its way to the stage I look at my family who is already captivated!

Except for Goo, who has had a long day!

I have to tell you that of everything we did and saw during our 12 days of Christmas Fun, this was probably in the top 3! I still get goose bumps when I think about the finale of the show when Marilee/Jack talked about how a baby born that night came to be the hope of the world. The music was exceptional, the narration beautiful (even more so with Marilee signing) and the message POWERFUL! I love the outward expression of my Christian faith that has been displayed by Disney, and really am a little shocked how religious and inspirational it was...I really did not expect it to be that way in the commerical world we live in during the holidays. WAY TO GO DISNEY! I left with tears in my eyes and peace in my heart…

and trying to figure out a place for a DISmet with Noelle and family…will we find each other in the crowds of people exiting CP and those trying to line up for the next show?

We saw the show at the American Pavilion for the first time in many years in 2010 with the boys. Ben is a history buff and appreciated the exhibits and show. Nate, not so much.

I am the history buff of the family, but when I can find things that the kids can make connections to...well, they get interestedl. Thank goodness we found some things. I really enjoyed the displays!

Hope that you end up with a decent seating at the CP- we have never been to the World during the holidays, so I really have no idea about how this all works.

I added a little more information about the CP in my next post...

Ack! I hope you get a good seat!

We found awesome seats...a little pixiedust: I really must learn not to stress over things because they usually work out for the best!

Messing around with the digital scrapbooking tonight...

Love it!!!!!

I know you were joking...let me teach you about the word fixin....

Now that's a good southern word!

Let me teach you about a good PA Dutch phrase...put out the light. I grew up putting out the light at night. Went to college and one night my roommate couldn't take it any longer. She picked up all the removable lights and PUT THEM OUT of our room. We laughed for hours.

Does photobucket resizing drive anyone else crazy? Sometimes it resizes when I post and other times it takes a day or so....UGH!

I love your scrapbook pages!!! I'll have to get into digital scrapbooking. Someday! At least having the trip reports will really come in handy when it comes time to do some journaling.

I love your digital scrapbooking pages! Scrapbooking is one of my favorite hobbies but I don't have as much time as I'd like to. Which program do you use for the digital?

Dinner looks like it was fun. I have never tried Biergarten.

I am so glad you got good seats for CP. I too was amazed at how inspirational it was. We enjoyed it. (well, not sure if ds did but the rest of us did)

Love the scrapbook pages! :goodvibes

Candle light processional is the best!!! I have seen it twice. I thought about trying to see it the night before our cruise but feel like that might be pushing too much into the day.
I too like Beirgarten but last time I was there, they did not have the Princesses. I too am intrested in the program you use for digital scrapbooking.

What program do you use for your digital scrap booking? They look awesome.

Thanks for the compliments...I am so enjoying the digital scrapbooking venture and really think my days of paper albums are behind me :scared1:...I seem to be able to work on pages a lot easier sitting at a computer and not dragging stuff in and out of the closet each time I want to work.

I am using Creative Memories Storybook Creator...it is really easy to use. I did not think I was ready to use Photoshop Elements so I opted for a program I have worked with before and am happy with the results. There is a great website for Disney scrapbookers...Mousescrappers.com where I have asked lots of questions and found great inspiration!
