I am joining in. I need to sort my self out and need motivation. We have a cruises booked for next April so I have 13ish months to get to target (lose 3 and half stone) So come on ladies we can do it :D

We can do this!! No bother to you at all and think about how amazing it will be showing off your new figure in new, gorgeous holiday clothes.
Are you following a meal plan or doing it yourself?

WI tonight and the scales is reading a sts. Which I'd be delighted with after the week I had!

Hi folks, not checked in for a few weeks ( I seem to always be looking a DIS from my mobile and I hate posting from there). I was away for an overnight to celebrate our wedding anniversary and then was really ill for about 3 weeks. I put 4.5lb on but last week managed to lose 5lb :cool1:

Weighed in just now and have stayed the same - not too bad I suppose.

I've got another overnight in London next week so will miss my usual Thursday weigh in. I need to lose 8lb to reach my target. It feels like I'll never get there, but this time last year I weighed about 4 stones heavier so I'm trying to keep that in my head as motivation.

Good luck for the coming week everyone :goodvibes

Good on you Julie - that's a fantastic achievement. Look how far you've come. Good luck for the week ahead, hope you have a lovely night away.

Julie, keep at it, you've come so far. This month's WeightWatchers mag has a feature on losing that last half stone, lots of hints and tips. Can't tell you about it though, as I am still so far away from that I didn't bother reading it! But it might be helpful to you and motivate you.

Was up 1.5lbs this week at WW but i bought a journal so I've got a renewed motivation after sitting down to fill it in. Strictly doing SS this week. Hope it kick starts the loss. Good luck everyone :)

Kizzabel, forgive yourself and move on. You can do it!

Thanks both, I will keep going, I just get a bit fed up with it sometimes. I'm going to a ball next week in London and bought a new dress which is a size 10! I cannot believe that having been in 18/20's for the last 17 odd years. It's really weird.....I can see the label, but when I look in the mirror I don't feel like a size 10??? My normal everyday closes are size 12, the dress is big made I think.

I love reading all the slimming magazines, regardless of what diet it's about. I find the reader's stories so motivating :thumbsup2

Stick with it - write down absolutely everything and weigh things honestly. That 'scraping' of butter/marg might be more than you think. And two
broken bits of biscuit in the barrel have the same calories as a full one :rotfl2:

Final weigh in this morning before I leave for DLRP tomorrow and nothing has changed from last week. I blame the fact that my friends at work treated me early for my birthday with a pain au chocolat for breakfast and a costa coffee with tiffin for lunch, plus I may have had a cheeky bacon and egg sandwich for tea last night!

I'm not worried about the next week though and will face the consequences when I get back, I know I will gain but we're all capable of loosing it again if we want to, so I will be having what I want!

Hope you all have a great week, don't go off the rails without me and I'll report back the damage next week. X

Have a wonderful time. You are right, consequences can be faced after a wonderful holiday.

Thanks ladies! Not doing too bad now this week. That WW journal is brilliant! Space for a "now" photo and an "in 12 weeks" one. And its great motivation writing down possible places/days that need a bit of forward planning. Have DDs Communion in 6 weeks and we are away to Dublin for the night so I'm going to look at the menus from where we are eating and I can have my meals out fairly planned to limit the damage. DLP is 2 weeks later but I'm not going to cut back as much there. Plenty of hard work now to allow some wiggle room ;)

Have a ball Stacy! Cant wait to hear all about it :)

Well done. Never mind the weight, do you feel better?

Pam

Um I haven't really noticed any difference as yet, but hopefully it is doing me some good inside!

I'm happy! A two pound loss for me this week. Total for 17 1/2 lbs down now, and the lowest I've been for years and years. I bought a pair of size 16 trousers today, they don't quite fit, but they might in a month!

Well done Pam! Isn't it lovely to see the Non Scale Victories too! I have a drawer with new jeans that Im almost into. It wont be long until you're in them and comfortably wearing them. Great confidence boost to get down a size and it makes all your hard work worth it. I think steadily and slowly losing it makes you more determined to keep it off too. Our leader got us to try new breakfast this week and I'm finding that small change seems to be working well for me this week but I wont know for sure until WI tonight. Good luck for the next week Pam :)

Thanks Kizz, and you too for tonight.

(I actually tried on my size 16 trousers this morning, when I'm at my lowest, and I fastened them and sat down and moved around in them. I still look a bit 'bumpy' in them, but I never thought I'd get them fastened yet)

Bet next week they'll be fitting even better :)

I was down 4lbs! Got my 3rd silver 7 and hit 10% loss of starting weight! Going to try Filling & Healthy this week as I have a night out Saturday and I'll keep my points for that.

If you liked SS, you will really like F&H. It really works for daughter and I as there is so much choice. I've learnt when I've had enough and can leave food on my plate - it's taken me years to learn this, but finally, the penny has dropped.

I've not been to my weigh in this week as was away for a couple of days and missed my class. I know I've put on a couple of pounds though, but hope to have it off again by next Thursday, my weigh in day. Mother's day this week won't help as we're all out for dinner. Good luck everyone this week :goodvibes

Forgot to post Thursday but I was up a lb :(
Got a dress to wear for DDs communion though so its a good motivation to look good in it. Hope everyones having a great week and has a loss this week. Fingers and toes crossed :goodvibes

I have not posted for weeks as its been properly manic around here with my wedding now 10 days away! :cool1:

I had set myself a weight loss target for the wedding which I've very nearly met, only 3lb to go!

Looks like everyone has been doing really well! Congratulations! :thumbsup2
