yes local radio, when 15 and I interrailed around in Europe , for 4 months.
with some friends , from all over the world.
I live on an Island , very small and in 1980 also very small minded... people just didnt travel that much here.. hahah SO A BIIIIG ! deal !
I even wrote a half page of travel diary, with REAL photos for the local newspaper, once a week and mailed it ,,, BY REAL MAIL HAHAHAH. Good old days then !
