A Mr. Potato Head Question...please help.

My coworker's son has a Mr. Potato Head from WDW (I believe), well, for christmas someone gave him a bunch of the Disney "accesories" like a balloon and a Mickey Head ice cream bar ( )

The problem? The "accesories" won't stay in Mr. Potato Heads hands...are there "special" hands that are used for holding these items? DH and I are leaving for WDW in 4 hours ( ) and I told her I'd look for them while I was down there.

Where can I FIND Mr. Potato head pieces? I know of the display in AK outside the Dinosaur ride...and I'm assuming the Toy store in DD Marketplace would have it too?

any ideas? Thanks!

Easy! Go to the Toy Store at Downtown Disney. You can get a large carton and fill it to the rim for one price. The CM's will encourage creative stuffing to really get your money's worth.

There are special white arms that hold the WDW potato items. I don't know that you can buy pieces individually. I think you have to buy an entire box of pieces for $18. You fill the box with whatever pieces you want. We got ours at Mouse Gear in Epcot, but there's a store in each park that has them. DTD has the largest selection, but there were plenty of pieces at Mousegear to choose from.

As seen in this photo released in New York by Hasbro, Inc., Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, Hasbro, Inc.'s Playskool division is launching a new Mr. Potato Head figure, Darth Tater. Available at stores nationwide in February, kids will be able to have all kinds of mix 'n match,Mr. Potato Head fun with this wacky spud dressed as the infamous Star Wars saga villain, Darth Vader.

So - i have to buy a box of parts...can't just buy 2 arms? Ah well...she's a disney freak, she won't mind! hehehe.

Make sure you get the arms with "holes" in them.....and be sure you have a left and right arm.....somehow I got to left arms......so I HAD to buy I another box on my next visit....so sad....BUT I do have some decked out taters!!! Have a great trip!!

I believe that all the parks have a place that sells the Potato head parts. MK it is located in Mickey's Toon Town Fair Tent.
Downtown Disney has a place.
AK - Outside the Dino Ride.
Epcot at the Inovations store.

If you just need 2 arms and nothing less, PM me your address and I'll send you 2 arms (1 left and 1 right).

There's no need to spend $18 for just 2 arms. But if you want to fill a box, there are plenty of other great pieces to get, like the buzz lightyear ride base and ray gun, the fireman's hat and gas mask, etc.

You can also buy a dumbo ride base and a yellow rain poncho separately for $5 each.

These things are a lot of fun. So... let me know.
