I'm not sure what film it is, but I think it's a Martin Scorsese film. I was just outside and they have cherry pickers with large lights on them facing an office of a building across the street. I can also see lights and filters in a corner office. I would love to sit outside and do a little star gazing, but I can't. :headache:

I wonder if it's the same movie that was filmed in the building where my sister works. Well, part of it was filmed there anyway. A large part of her building is vacant, so they "set up shop" there. My dad went to meet my sister for lunch and was trying to get in on the action. :lmao:

They were filming a movie on the 59th St Bridge on Sunday when we drove over it (NYC). Then when DH went up to the subway this morning, they were also filming there (Queens, NY). They told him it was Pelham 123, but wasn't that an old movie from years ago?

Where does your work? This is right in downtown Boston. I also heard that Adam Sandler (rumor) is filming at the Burlington Mall.

It must be this one http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1130884/

he really likes Leonardo DiCaprio

They're remaking it with Denzel washington, John Travolta and James Gandolfini

She works in North Andover. I was thinking maybe they're filming parts of it in different places? :confused3 Anyway, the movie they were filming there was a horror movie. I can't remember who it's starring though. I want to say Cameron Diaz. I could be wrong.

ETA: Okay, I looked it up. Yes, it's Cameron Diaz and the movie is The Box.

I think it's Shutter Island with Leonardo DiCaprio and Michelle Williams.

You should walk over and see what's up. Any New Yorker can tell you that they see Law and Order filming throughout the city, as well as any number of productions going on and any given time. The people on the sets always seem to be very cool with bystanders, provided you stay out of the way. On a personal note, they filmed bits of Will Smith's movie Hitch on my block in NYC a few years ago for about 2 weeks, I would walk by every day on my way to and from my apartment. He was as friendly and cool as he comes across in interviews, even chatting with many of my neighbors on the block when they had a little down time. If you get a minute, run across and give us an update...

That's totally cool. I don't see very many movies being filmed, so I think it's a cool thing. A few years ago there was a movie being filmed in my old law firm (don't remember which), but it was pretty cool. I worked in the copy center and would frequently copy scrips for them.

I live in Boston but get to the Cape as often as I can. I spent every summer there (in Dennisport) growing up and now we spend most of our time in Yarmouth when we go down.

God bless you for sitting in the traffic. It's awful in the morning!!!

He takes the train, which is a VERY smart thing to do. My friend commutes from the Cape to Boston every day and also takes the commuter. It's a long trip, but better than being stuck in gridlock. :headache:

I'm speaking for CCT since I'm bored. :rotfl:

Thanks, but I don't sit in traffic. I drive to Kingston and then take the train from there. I do 300 miles a week just getting to the train station and back home. That's enough driving without having to drive all the way into Boston. I reserve that for special occasions.

:thumbsup2 :lovestruc ;) Hey M, what train does your friend take? I would assume the one from Kingston if he/she is coming from the Cape, but do you know what time it is? Maybe I know this person.

Ahhhh, much better than sitting in that mess in the morning. Anyone who can drive in from the Cape must have the patience of a saint. My father in law's friend drives into downtown from Barnstable everyday. :scared:

Your father-in-law's friend does it every day from Barnstable? Wow, he must have the patience of a saint. I couldn't do it everyday.
