A Mouse, Two Little Minnows who wear out Grumpy and Test Track Moves to Naples 11/26

I know I owe a lot of responses and my recap (I've decided to skip the hat contest as everyone has less time for the DIS with the holidays), and I promise I'll have it up by Sunday. It's been super busy at work for both Mark and I (which is a good thing), busy preparing for the holidays and we had no heat for about six hours on Monday and all day today. $572 into my Christmas budget to get the furnace fixed...not a good day. But I will finish this by Sunday...I promise.

Sorry about the furnace, Kathy! And no worries about the updates...it just means this whole thing can keep going a little bit longer.

I almost sent you an email yesterday to make sure you and your family were okay since I hadn't seen you on the Dis much. It's just been a busy time for all of us here lately and work and preparing for the holiday seems to consume all of our time.

Ooh my Special K...it was sooo ? CRUNCHY! Oh the little bits of strawberry, so nice and dried out....And the milk, let me tell you guys, the milk was the coldest I ever had!

Lunch - I had the most incredible peanut butter sandwich on the softest grain bread ever

Shall I go on???

Wow, and you guys eat that extravagantly every day??? Gadzooks woman!!!!

I have dragged this on long enough. I have some things I am dealing with in my life right now, so I need to get this done and over with so that I can concentrate on those.

Overall the trip was, as always a wonderful vacation. The top 5:

1) Spending a week with Nicki, my long lost "sister" and meeting Todd
2) And close to #1, was meeting Mary and her darling and adorable girls, Avery and Cayley
3) Meeting all the other wonderful DISer's we met
4) Winning $1000 while on Marco Island
5) Having yet another great stay at the CSR (just wish we could have made it a longer time there)

The lone bad part of the trip:

1) The car accident while in Naples with Nicki. I am just thankful that we were both okay.

I thank you all for following along (and, Marv, for "taking over" while I was away) and being such wonderful friends. I've enjoyed sharing our trip with you and meeting some new DIS friends along the way.

I will try to catch up on everyone's trip reports as soon as I can. In the meantime, I wish all of my DIS friends a most blessed and happiest of holidays.

Mary, I appreciate it. You know we loved meeting you and those precious princesses' of yours. Nicki says it will be sometime early in October (although a lot of things will need to be taken care of for the trip to happen for us at this point).

Although I have been MIA from the DIS we have been chatting and I just wanted to post here so you dont kick my butt I would never kick your butt; well, maybe when you tell me how cold it is there -- 48 degrees and we have temperatures in single digits here.

The house looks gorgeous...what can I offer you to come down and do mine??? A plane ticket!!!

Cookie is a real sweetie pie...sooooo cute! I just want to snuggle with her! I snuggle with her when she will leave Romeo's side.

I was very very very sad they day you guys left me...left me stranded in Marco Island without my coffee buddies. Things have not been the same since...I find I now order my coffee in a very complicated manner, I think you rubbed off on me Believe me, the first day home I didn't even want to go to Starbucks, and you know how I love my coffee.

Yes I was a cry baby, more so after you left. More so when I thought about you eating at the Waffle House You cried more about me eating at Waffle House than my leaving. I'm hurt, Nicki. I'm really hurt.

And honey if you think Marco Island prices for breakfast are high what the heck do you think of WDW prices??????? Come on, I live in Resort-land! That is why I eat at home

Really enjoyed your trip - sounds like it was full of good fun and good friends! Hope you are staying warm today. Don't know what it's like where you are, but it's cold and windy here - and a friend of mine further north than you is plowed in and can't get out.
