A Mouse, Two Little Minnows who wear out Grumpy and Test Track Moves to Naples 11/26

An unruly drunk !!!:scared1:Glad you made it home safely!!! Can't wait for the Hat contest!!!
If I get my pix uploaded and Tim is helping me !!!! I will add the DC pix along with the Albany to finish off my TR!!Right now it is gaining momentum due to 2 Rosies;:rotfl2::rotfl2:Poor Marv!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Wow, that's a lot of Disney decorations! Very nice collection. :thumbsup2

Swiffer sends his Happy Birthday wishes to Cookie. ;)

Just a little "mother pride" for her youngest son. Mark's team that he is coaching in Iowa (a Catholic High School) in wrestling started their season tonight with a dual against three different teams. After the dual with each of the first two teams, they are 2 and 0. The other one probably won't end until after I'm in bed. I just have to say: WAY TO GO MARKIE AND TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Glen.

And please tell Swiffer that Cookie said RUFF RUFF! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

So sad to see your trip is now over, but am looking forward to your wrap-up!!

Hat contest??!! The only one I know who was keeping really good track was Tim...................... and now he's gone!!! Muahahahahahaha!!!!

I'm sorry the trip finally came to a close (a second time). How soon did you start planning the next one?

:woohoo::woohoo:

Wow, so impressive you have all the Christmas decorations done already! Personally, I would have thought you would at least have had a few Disney items........ :rolleyes1

I really like that wreath! Very nice. We have some Disney decorations, but they pretty much have all come from the Hallmark store. We saw a few we liked the last New Years trip, but never got around to getting them. :confused3 I guess I need to rectify that error on this upcoming trip!!!

So sad your trip is finally over! The only good thing about coming home from your trip, is you can begin to plan in earnest for the next one!!!

Oh crap, a hat contest......... Something else to fall behind Glenn on..... :sad2:

Congrats to Markie! That's great. I am so sad that your TR is nearly over. Can't wait for your final thoughts! :goodvibes

I'm so sad your TR is almost over, it's been so much fun reading it! Ugh that whole flight delay thing would have annoyed me too...I get nervous flying too, so I like to just get it over with! :rotfl: At least you were only 10 minutes late landing! Can't wait for your final thoughts, and of course, the hat contest!

Sorry I haven't finished this thing up with my final thoughts. It's been a busy week at work. And today is a sad day in my heart and the hearts of thousands and thousands of Chicagoans and baseball fans. We lost #10 today, Ron Santo. A true gentleman in every sense of the word, a true baseball man who had a love for our luvable loser Cubs that could not be matched and a man who went through so much in his life with diabetes and other illnesses. Mr. Santo, you may not have been elected to the Hall of Fame, but you are and always will be a Hall of Famer in our hearts. We will miss you. Rest in Peace.

Hi Kathy!

I thought I had posted a comment earlier this week, but I can't find it, so I don't know what happened.

Sad to read that your last two days are over! I am sure it was a VERY sad goodbye, that you had to say to Nicki! But in less than a year you'll hopefully be together again!

Happy belated birthday to Cookie! She sure is a little cutie! Those "adopted" additions to a family sure grow close to your heart.
First thing we do when we travel is shop for our little "feline princess"!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your Christmas decorations! Did you "rob" the Christmas Store? :rotfl2:
Great decorating in and outside the house! This the season ........ to deck the halls with lots of ........... DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

My husband is a major Ron Santo fan - at 56 he was a teenager when Ron was playing. We belong to a group - The Chicago Cub Boosters of Central Illinois, my husband is vice president. Every year before the Cubs Convention in Chicago some of the Cubs go out on a Cubs Caravan where they visit some other venues around the state. Since Peoria has the Chiefs, they have always come here. Santo has come in the past, and my husband was thrilled one year when the program was over and some last minute people were rushing up to try to sneak more autographs after the signing session was long over, to just go up, shake his hand, and tell him how much he always admired him. This was before Santo had lost his legs - so it has been several years ago. My husband has also met Ryne Sandburg, and many up and coming players along with coaches and management (there are usually no "big name players" that come....unless they are coaching or broadcasting Sandburg was there the years he was coaching the Chiefs), but Santo will always be special.

On a similar theme - the little cafe in the town my folks live in - had a teammate of Santos there for breakfast a couple weeks ago. Ferguson Jenkins was there one day. We are from a rural area, and some of the people around here have started offering their land for hunting. Jim Thome owns property over that way that he uses for hunting and he is a semi-regular at the cafe. But Fergie was a new one. Dad got his autograph and gave it to Mark. Dad actually didn't recognize him, he was just a big guy in hunting gear eating breakfast with a bunch of other guys. But the gal who runs the place told him he may want to take a better look at him. Dad said it was no wonder he was a heck of a pitcher - he said his hands were so big he could wrap them around the ball twice!

Oh Kathy, I am finally getting caught up and I am on one of the work computers where I can't see a blessed thing. I am supposed to go out to dinner tonight with work folks so I am hanging around by myself in our closed office trying to kill a couple hours. It's too far and way too much traffic for me to go home and back. And now I can't see your pics and I am sure your house looks great. So here is a major pout......:headache:

Although I have been MIA from the DIS we have been chatting and I just wanted to post here so you dont kick my butt :lmao:

The house looks gorgeous...what can I offer you to come down and do mine???

Cookie is a real sweetie pie...sooooo cute! I just want to snuggle with her!

I was very very very sad they day you guys left me...left me stranded in Marco Island without my coffee buddies. Things have not been the same since...I find I now order my coffee in a very complicated manner, I think you rubbed off on me

Yes I was a cry baby, more so after you left. More so when I thought about you eating at the Waffle House :scared1:

And honey if you think Marco Island prices for breakfast are high what the heck do you think of WDW prices??????? Come on, I live in Resort-land! That is why I eat at home :rotfl2::rotfl:

Can you imagine a Nicki and Todd dining review from home? Goes a little somthing like this...

Ooh my Special K...it was sooo ? CRUNCHY! Oh the little bits of strawberry, so nice and dried out....And the milk, let me tell you guys, the milk was the coldest I ever had!

Lunch - I had the most incredible peanut butter sandwich on the softest grain bread ever

Shall I go on???

I thought I commented on the decoration.....I love them :santa: All of them, so :cutie:

Ah, saying goodbye is :sad2: I am glad you had such a fun time on the Island.

When ya going to get a new ticker....C'mon Nicki.....

I'm still here - still breathing!

Happy belated birthday to your puppy! :cutie:

All your pictures of the Island - esp the beach pictures - has me yearning for a getaway, late February can't come quickly enough!!! Marco Island is just BEAUTIFUL!

I know I owe a lot of responses and my recap (I've decided to skip the hat contest as everyone has less time for the DIS with the holidays), and I promise I'll have it up by Sunday. It's been super busy at work for both Mark and I (which is a good thing), busy preparing for the holidays and we had no heat for about six hours on Monday and all day today. $572 into my Christmas budget to get the furnace fixed...not a good day. But I will finish this by Sunday...I promise.

Hey! Kathy--sorry I have been MIA...not on the dis much lately
love the Christmas decorations :santa: --Ashton and I have the disney blues right now...wish I could afford AP's for us I would certaintly buy those to jump in the car for a long weekend here and there--haha!

your Princess looks just like our Cinnamon she turned 14 in Nov...she has no teeth and her bottom jaw is broken and the vet said there is nothing we can do for it...doesn't seem to bother her now that she is eating soft food. Other than that we just have a little old lady to love...

Congrats! to Markie and his tean!!!! :yay:
hope you and Mark are enjoying the holiday season!
:wave2: Connie

No rush, Kathy! Christmas seems to be the BUSY season everywhere! So sorry to hear about having no heat for two days! :scared1: Hope everything is working again and you're no longer cold!
