A Mouse, Two Little Minnows who wear out Grumpy and Test Track Moves to Naples 11/26

Well guys, my order is not that much better than Kathys

Quad venti non fat sugar free vanilla latte no foam

For those non Starbuck-ers

A large, skim milk, sugar free vanilla syrup, cappuccino with 4 shots of espresso and skip the pesky foam stuff

STARBUCKS ORDER: Grande Coffee Frap Light Blended Cofee 1 Pump Vanilla 1 Pump Peppermint.

Mind you I just found a Starbucks energy drink called Doubleshot (unlike the original) it's 16oz/440mls with coffee and energy boost ...... whoo hooo:dance3:

OMG, sorry to hear what happened to you and Nikkie...you had a great day and a fabolous shopping and minding your own business and bang. I feel your pain.

I got hit in hubby's new car (less than 6 months old) going through an intersection. It was a 4 way stop. I stopped, waited my turn, and went. When I was almost through an older lady stopped and went and hit right in my passenger door. :headache: When we got out the first thing she said was "where did you come from" then she said that her grandson (in the front seat with her) was telling her to stop :sad2:......so evidently the passenger could see me even if she couldn't :rolleyes1. A guy in the truck behind her jumped out and said he saw everything and that she just did a slow and go. By the time we got to the police station she decided that she had been looking back towards the school to see if there were any lights on down that way (there had been a terrible storm a couple days before and power lines were down around town) and she just didn't really look at the stop sign. :headache: Her insurance covered everything - but DH was still furious that his new car was a mess.

Oh Kathy how awful for you and Nikki!!! Hope the injuries were just minor !!

No injuries--that was the good news.

The way you two drink Starbucks I think I need to buy some stock in that company! :lmao:

So, ummm, no pics of the lingerie you ladies bought????? :confused3 :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Glad you had a nice lunch... our Friday's here is hit or miss- mostly miss. :headache:

So the accident.. glad both of you were ok physically. I've been in quite a few accidents and they are never fun. It is very nerve-racking. I'm sure the guy that hit you guys wasn't paying attention. You just don't bash into someone that is stopped at a light. I Cn't believe you went to another Starbucks after this... I think I would of been getting a cocktail after that!

I hope you both were relaxed for dinner. :goodvibes

No pics of the lingerie, Tim--behave yourself!

The Friday's out here is hit or miss as well. The burgers there were really good...or we were just really hungry.

I've only been in one accident prior to that and we were at the mall and got hit in the parking lot on my side of the car (passenger side).

Well, a cocktail would have been nice, but Nicki was still shaking and she was driving.

Oh, how horrid! And the nerve that boss had to say such a thing!!! I am glad that everyone was alright and that you still got to go to starbucks. ;)

I thought he was way off base with his comment!

Good LORD!! I am SOoOOOO glad you two were ok!! How horribly scary and emotional! Poor poor Nicki! Like Tim said, I'd have called the guys, and gone to get a cocktail, then gone to take my nap before dinner!

Yeah, a drink would have been nice, but not with the shape Nic was in and her driving.

How awful! I would have had a few additional choice words for the boss man. He should keep his craptastic comments to himself.:headache:

I'm glad that you both were okay.

Sophia, believe me, it was all I could do NOT to choke the guy!

OMG! I can't believe all of that...some people are such jerks, especially when they know they are at fault! Ugh! :sad2: I'm glad you guys are ok though, that must have been scary! :goodvibes

I was wondering what the Test Track part of the title of your TR meant...now it finally makes sense! :rotfl:

Jen, I agree with you...people are jerks when they are trying to protect their hides. I wanted to lighten the mood so Mark came up with the title with Test Track in it to make Nicki laugh.

Nicki: if it makes you feel any better, I was rear-ended twice in 1 week! Both times at stop lights, and the one didn't have insurance!

Thank God this guy had insurance.

Wow ... that's crazy.... Sorry to hear about the accident. I've been rear-ended a couple of times, once this year. I too was at a complete stop at a red light, the guy was an ,.... oh it doesn't matter.

I'm glad that the two of you were not injured. I hope that there were no lasting feelings from the accident as well.

Not exactly the part of Test Track I was hoping for y'all. LOL Cheers.

Besides Nic missing her car, no lasting feelings after the accident.

We were having the best day, until 2:20 pm LOL

Have you ever been so furious that you just cry? Well that was me in a nutshell, crying like a goofball not because I am sad but because I was out of my mind angry. You have to know the love love love relationship I have with my car....I have owned it since its "birth", I dreamed of getting this car, I saved for 2 years, I picked the color, the wheels, etc everything about it is so me....that is why I was so livid.

I know accidents are just that, accidents and I am so grateful that no one was hurt, but come on..I just went through this, I was shocked that it happened again because I was just hit at a stop light in May, the lady was on her Blackberry texting away and didn't see the light and crashed into me...that was horrible but THIS was insane.

I was terribly worried about Kathy, for some reason I felt it was my fault and if she was hurt I would be devastated, I mean, I was driving the car. I must have asked her a bazillion times if she was ok (I think she told me to shut up at one point LOL)...I was so worried about her because we were hit hard. Thank goodness I had a good space between my car and the lady in front of me or it could have been worse for her, and me.

We were just sitting there, at a dead stop at a traffic light and the guy hit me doing 30 miles and hour. His claim is that there was a white truck that cut him off but the police officer said there is no way he couldn't see the light was red.

First instinct, call 911...I was the only one that did and the response was immediate with people showing up in minutes. Second instinct ask Kathy another million times if she is ok and third was to call Todd, who could not believe what I was telling him. I was just stunned, still am a bit shocked that it happened again.

The policeman was a dream, he told me not to worry, the guy that hit me is cited for the accident and responsible for paying the repairs to the car. He said "I can see you are a hot rod chick by your license plate and I know that this happened a few months ago..dont let this get you down" So that cheered me up a bit.

When we were back in the car Kathy said, "What about my Starbucks?" and that made me laugh so off we went, in my beat up hot rod, going to get her another very complicated icy cold drink! When I finally made it home Todd came out to look at the car and said "Well you got sandwiched pretty good huh?" Funny guy I married right?

The kicker? The guy driving the car that hit me? Well he didn't own the car and that was not his insurance but you have to love State Farm because (the owner of the car's insurance co) because they paid for the entire thing, a month for the rental car and all the repairs.

I have my baby back and she is good as new but I am still a bit freaked out at a traffic light, you know because things happen in threes?

We all went to dinner and had an incredible night...loads of fun and a day filled with adventure LOL!

Kathy, I cannot wait until you come back next year but I think we should hire a limo to take us shopping and out to lunch, what do you think?

I think between the two of us we did really well remembering all the details. And I think the limo is a great idea. Either that or I'll drive. ;)

I have been rear ended and it is terribly infuriating. I feel so bad for both of you. It really stinks to have your car damaged, have a rental car for weeks, and have to be inconveinced by all of the nonsense. Plus, to have it happen twice in four months. That is a bit unreal.

Bottom line - the person who is behind you is always, always, always at fault. You always need to have control of your car and not hit what is in front of you....no matter what.

The upside is I think after you have been rear ended a couple of times, you learn never to tail gate and always drive a safe distance.

So sorry that happened, but at least both of you were unharmed.

Oh, and Kathy - I get a horrible, horrible caffiene withdraw headache, too. It's the worst. When I was really sick last April and couldn't drink coffee my headache got so bad I had to have Dilaudid when I was in the hospital. How's that for a headache! :sad2:

On a lighter note - nice purchases and I hope dinner is wonderful.

Thanks, MaryEllen. Actually, I'm not supposed to have caffiene at all because of my heart, but the doctor said if I went 1/2 decaf I would be okay if I didn't have 12 a day (she has no idea how many I actually do).

Hopefully will have the dinner details up later tonight.

I have no idea what this is.

But then again, I don't speak Starbucks. Do you ever see any guys walk in there and just say, "I dunno, just gimme a freakin' coffee." :rotfl2:

Most men can't, Mark. :)

Dude, I hate to break it to you, but anytime you rear-end somebody, it's considered your fault. End of story. What a punk.

Totally agree!

Yes, because if you're hyperventilating and shaking, the first thing you want is more caffeine! :hyper: :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Well, at the time it was better than a cocktail wtih us having a 40 minute drive and we both needed to sit and relax. :rotfl2:

I'm sorry it happened, but glad everyone was ok. :thumbsup2

Me too!

Well, it sounds like the day was going good until (insert the dun dun dun music) the rear end accident.

Nicki, I am just like you on the crying thing. When I get really mad, I start crying. Then I get mad at myself for crying because everybody thinks I am weak but I'm not, I'm just mad!

I'm glad to hear the both of you were okay and that Kathy got her Starbucks.;)

I cry for all kinds of reasons and could totally sympathize with Nicki.

My gosh! Thank goodness you two were not injured. When will people learn not to text or talk on a cell when driving? I am so sorry you had to go through such an experience. Nicki, glad the car is back in good shape.

Well, the day would have been perfect if not for that darned bump!:sad2: Nevertheless, great purchases, plenty of coffee and the day spent with your BFF. :goodvibes

So happy you are both okay.:grouphug:

The day was 99.9% perfect...I wasn't letting some idiot ruin a great day with my "sis."

Huh?? I'm so not a coffee drinker, I would have had to have you order this yourself too - I know I would've messed it up!

What a crappy way to end a perfectly wonderful day! :sad2: I'm glad no one was injured and that Nicki now has her car back good as new! A lady hit me once after she ran a red light, she also had State Farm and getting my car fixed & getting a rental was quick and painless, I'll be a customer of theirs for life now.

I'm with a PP who said you should have gotten something stronger than coffee - I'd have headed for the closest bar!

We've had State Farm since Mark got his first car before I ever met him and they have always treated us extremelyw ell.

wow what an event....good thing you still made it to starbucks:thumbsup2 good thing everyone was okay

i only get the hot apple cider there.

Dan, my son likes the apple cider too (he's not a coffee drinker).

Well guys, my order is not that much better than Kathys

Quad venti non fat sugar free vanilla latte no foam

For those non Starbuck-ers

A large, skim milk, sugar free vanilla syrup, cappuccino with 4 shots of espresso and skip the pesky foam stuff

AND YOU TALK ABOUT MY DRINK??????????????????? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

STARBUCKS ORDER: Grande Coffee Frap Light Blended Cofee 1 Pump Vanilla 1 Pump Peppermint.

Mind you I just found a Starbucks energy drink called Doubleshot (unlike the original) it's 16oz/440mls with coffee and energy boost ...... whoo hooo:dance3:

Now that sounds different. I do Java Chip Frappucino's when the weather is nice with skim milk, extra mocha, no whip cream, but MUST have the chocolate drizzle on top.

OMG, sorry to hear what happened to you and Nikkie...you had a great day and a fabolous shopping and minding your own business and bang. I feel your pain.

Thank you. Thankfully it all turned out all right.

If I were your DH I'd have been furious too.

I am SOOOO glad to hear that you guys are ok!! I was really scared reading that part at first! I seriously would have slapped that guy for you!!

I am happy to see the great finds you were able to get at the outlet malls and all the wonderful Starbucks you had to drink...I don't really like coffee all that much but I LOVE Starbucks :goodvibes I didnt know they still have Disney Stores, are those outlet stores or regular ones? I wish we had one around here!

Also I LOVE the test track moves to Naples title :rotfl: I am glad you have a great sense of humor about it all :goodvibes

If I were your DH I'd have been furious too.

The problem was he was furious with me. i told him that my other option was to hit the gas and try to get out of her way to the left - but the problem with that was there was a car in the turn lane that I would have hit - so I couldn't get out of my lane. I think if he had been around her he would have been mad at her - but since she wasn't around and I was......:rolleyes1 Now - several years later - it's "ammunition" I can use against him....throwing his bad behavior back at him when the need arises;)

Let's get him Kathy!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
Payback time in December, Rosie! :thumbsup2
I ain't skeered! Just remember, no copying my ideas, you have to dream up something original!!! (I should be safe now!) :lmao:
Look who is calling the kettle black????? UPDATE coming just for you Marv.
:cool1: I so spaashull!
Okay, I've got a few people who are getting a little antsy here for an update so I guess I'll give them one so they don't hijack my TR!!! ;)
Oh like that ever happens around here! :rolleyes1
So today was girls day. Nicki and I had been looking forward to this day for a long time. We arranged it that Nicki would pick me up at 8 a.m. so we could stop at Starbucks for our coffee on our way to the outlet malls for SHOPPING!
Shopping!!!! :scared1: I thought you said an update was coming just for ME! :sad2:
Got this at the Disney Outlet Store for $2.99 for the set:

Nice ear muffs!
All of a sudden, my head goes forward and Nicki says to me, "did you feel that?" We had been hit from behind and the impact was so hard that we went into the car in front of us.
Oh that sucks! Been there. Not a fun thing at all! :sad2:
Nicki asked again if I was all right and I said my neck hurt a little but other than that I was fine. Nicki's bosom hurt because the seat belt on impact became very tight.
As we were waiting for the police to finish up the reports, the boss of the man who hit us showed up. As I was standing there he made a comment and I really just wanted to slap him. He said, "people need to learn how to drive in Florida with the rain, etc." He was insinuating that it was Nicki's fault for the accident. I turned around and said to him, "she has lived here for over ten years...she knows how to drive in Florida." "And on top of that, we were at a complete stop at a stoplight and we weren't the one who rammed into anyone.
He's right, and if they did, Nicki wouldn't have been sitting there with rear end and bosom damage! :rolleyes1 What a jackwagon! :sad2:
The good news is Mark wasn't in the car after his neck surgery--that would NOT have been a good thing. And the best news is that nobody was seriously hurt.
That would NOT have been good!
So, ummm, no pics of the lingerie you ladies bought????? :confused3 :rolleyes1:rolleyes1
No pics of the lingerie, Tim--behave yourself!
Yeah Tim, sheesh, the nerve!
Have you ever been so furious that you just cry? Well that was me in a nutshell, crying like a goofball not because I am sad but because I was out of my mind angry.
I can definitely relate. When I got rear-ended it wasn't from anger. I was in a line of traffic and got blasted hard enough that not only did it knock me into the car in front, and deploy the air bags, but it knocked me into the oncoming lane and a blind spot for oncoming traffic. I was sitting totally vulnerable when an oncoming car, doing probably at least 45, swerved at the last second onto the shoulder of the road to avoid me. When the adrenaline finally eased, and the reality of what almost happened set in, that is when I lost it somewhat, and was shaking uncontrollably! :sad1:

I guess they figure the more they make you say to place your order, the more they can convince you to overpay for so little! Most guys will just walk in and say, Give me a plain coffee and don't try and rip me off for no reason! ;)

Just catching up....
first Kathy fun buys!!

Kathy & Nickie, sounds like a great morning and lunch...I haven't been to a TGIF in quite some time, they all closed in our area Danny loved their burgers.

and I am so happy to hear that neither of you were seriously hurt....

Nickie, I am so sorry to hear that your baby was hurt...Danny is like that with his baby that I drive daily ;)
and I understand the tears: I cry when I'm happy, nervous, of course sad, and really bad when I am really mad and upset! my emotions just don't understand how they are suppose to act :rotfl2:

happy to hear you were both able to enjoy an afternoon coffee and can't wait to hear about your dinner/evening...

and I just love the idea of a limo ride for next year's adventure!!:thumbsup2

The day started out very nicely with the coffe and shopping. I am very sorry for the accident. Nicki's poor baby. I am glad that no one was hurt.

One of the Disney stores was an outlet and the other one was a regular Disney Store. There are several outlets right around Disney World. We have two Disney stores left in the burbs and they just opened one a block from my work.

I figure a sense of humor was called for!

The problem was he was furious with me. i told him that my other option was to hit the gas and try to get out of her way to the left - but the problem with that was there was a car in the turn lane that I would have hit - so I couldn't get out of my lane. You go, girl!

I ain't skeered! Just remember, no copying my ideas, you have to dream up something original!!! (I should be safe now!) :lmao: I have time to think of something and I'm sure Rosie, Liesa and others (Dan, Mark) will help me!

I so spaashull! Yes, Marv, you are very spaashull!

Shopping!!!! :scared1: I thought you said an update was coming just for ME! :sad2:
Nice ear muffs!

Part of the update was our shopping! And it isn't earmuffs, you goof.Oh that sucks! Been there. Not a fun thing at all! :sad2:

Yeah Tim, sheesh, the nerve! :angel:You guys are ALL alike. :rotfl2:

That's what my husband says. But I have him trained well..he knows exactly how to order my drinks. :thumbsup2

Marv, all my comments to yours are in red.

Hi, Connie. Hope you are having a good week.

Glad you like my purchases. :)

Nicki has a really nice hot rod car and I could certainly understand her being upset.

That incident was not going to spoil the good day we had.

I'm thinking the limo is a great idea too. And I think we should add a spa day to the shopping day as well. ;)

The day started out very nicely with the coffe and shopping. I am very sorry for the accident. Nicki's poor baby. I am glad that no one was hurt.

Thanks, Mary. It was really a very nice day. And Nicki's baby is all better now so all is well.

Next years plan for the Kathy and Nicki only day

1. Limo picks up Nicki and then gets Kathy

2. Limo takes these wonderful young ladies to Starbucks...the driver goes in with a very specific, spelled out order and delivers to the girls

3. Limo then takes us shopping for new clothes - and Starbucks part 2 and of course the drive has found a drive in Starbucks so he can chill in the car.

4. These hot girls get back in the limo for a lunch...whatever they want! Of course we will be in need for a cold Starbucks by then..yup the driver goes in and gets it

5. Limo will take the fab gals to a spa for a day of scrubbing, rubbing and whatever else they offer, hair, nails .....everything

6 Limo takes us to a nice downtown restaurant on 5th Ave where they hotties will be met by a Hot Toddy and a Romeo. They will dine on crab and cocktails...a few of them will be in order.

7. Limo driver bids the ladies adieu and presents the men with the bills from this days adventure

What do you think Kath? Sounds like a plan?? :thumbsup2

And this is why I love you!!!! :worship::worship::worship: You know exactly how to have the perfect day. I read this to "Romeo" and he said it was probably a cheaper day having your car hit. ;) But he says that is fine as long as he and the Hot Toddy can go to a car show while we are off galivanting all day.

I THINK IT IS PERFECT! Maybe we'll do it in April??????

Every once in a while I have a good idea :rotfl:

And BTW, just 16 more days until I am DISNEYBOUND!!!

Shall I call you when I start my dining report so you can be first? :rotfl2::lmao:

This time we are going to pull into DTD at 7pm...I told Todd he is not working late this time, we have not been in a year and I am itching to get back! Sooooo...I am going to drive him to work and then pick him up at 4pm...he has no choice on this matter (or any others ). He agreed because this will save us 90 minutes on him driving home and farting around changing his clothes and then driving back up towards the interstate.

See...I just had another good idea :woohoo:

YES!!!! I want to be first!

You always have good ideas. Are you going to Fulton's? Or are you going to WPE or EOS?

Hey, Hot Toddy...I want lots of hat shots!

YES!!!! I want to be first!

You always have good ideas. Are you going to Fulton's? Or are you going to WPE or EOS?

Hey, Hot Toddy...I want lots of hat shots!

Ok..totally taking over your thread with my own baggage but you asked for it :rotfl2:

First off, yes there will be TONS of hat pics..he knows that in advance!

We will do just 1 TS breakfast and that will be Boma, the rest of the time we will do the food court at the CBR or just wing it.

Lunches are up in the air, maybe TS on a walk in basis and maybe CS...depends on our mood.

Dinners are WPE on arrival night, and in no particular order...Cali Grill, Citricos, Fultons, Narcoossee's, Mama Melrose, Cape May Clambake, Via Napoli and La Hacienda

Nov 13 and 14 will be hard core F&W commando days, since that is the last 2 days left of the F&W I want to cram as much in as possible.

I am toying with the idea of moving Via Napoli to lunch one day and booking Flying Fish or Il Mulino for dinner but I havent really decided yet.

Also thinking that after an early dinner at Cali Grill that we may decide to go to the MVMCP that night...but again we dont know yet and didnt buy tickets.

So I have my arrival night down, the first weekend set, wing it M-S and then on our last day, Sunday, we will eat at Boma for breakfast and go to AK for the day and head out of WDW around 3-4 pm. The last night we are there, Saturday night, is our Fultons night (had to save the best for last) and lots of DTD time.

Sounds good? I think so but you know there will be a ton of curveballs hurled at me by the significant other.
