Kat! Your pic of Donald Duck is fantastic, and I'm not just saying that! I'm totally impressed! In fact you inspire me to think I can do it next time!
I've always stayed away from there because I can't draw to save my life and didn't want to relive that moment from grade school of feeling inferior all over again.
Although I did make it into the building this time, so that's a good start, I figure by the next trip I'll be ready, especially after seeing your pic.

And for the record....I'm totally with you on the whole stitch thing, I can't stand him. Great reporting by the way.

I can't believe CSR didn't attach your tickets to your cards... But glad it was remedied quickly.

We are going to have to find that snowman for a picture in December... hopefully he isn't melted by then.

I'm so sorry that those kids were out of control. Even though we had a few kid breakdown in March, I think our kids (Juliana & our friends 2 kids) were pretty well behaved the whole trip. Maybe if the mom was paying a littl emore attention, things might of been different.

I think that both Mark's and your picture's are great! I will not comment on the better pic....

There's one thing I really don't like ...... it's when I go to bed early only once and your thread grows by 3 pages!

Never mind, I am caught up again and LOVED every line I was able to read.

I was so worried the mix up with the tickets would happen to us too! I bought a non expiration option and they were trying to put my tickets onto paper tickets then back onto our KTTW and I was sure they would not work any more! Luckily they did .... but I am still shocked you had a problem with yours.

Love your studio day apart from the ticket mix up. We always pick up a FP for TSM first, then ride it, IF we make it to the studios early enough to even get a FP!

I remember that sandwich from Starring Rolls, we had that too a few years ago and it was easily big enough to share! ..... and so yummy!

Loved the snowman and umbrella pics ..... one day we need to stop there again to get some new photos.

Can you imagine we have NEVER been to the drawing class? I pride myself in being the worst "artist" when it comes to drawing. Maybe I should try it too .... I might even "invent" a new character!

Great pictures! I'm a little jealous that you got to ride TSM twice, but then again, the whole ride it first and grab a fast pass strategy hadn't occurred to me for the last trip. Suffice it say, I'm stealing that one! I also cannot get over the number of things (like the umbrella and the Chinese laundry) we never saw when we were at DHS. How crazy!. More stuff to look out for next time, I guess.

Tina, there is NO other way to do TSM twice. Pick up a FP and get in line first thing in the morning, then come back and ride TSM later and beat the crowds ......

My heart sank a bit when I read about your park tickets not beeing on your KTTW card. I'm glad that they got it fixed relatively fast though.

Kinda stinks that the FP's couldn't be used for TSMM. Joe beats me every time but guess who has a better accuracy rate? Yep, that would be me.

I've never been in the Christmas shop at DHS. Don't know why though.

Loving all the hat pictures. That's one thing that we didn't do this trip. First time ever.

That must have been frustrating when the cards did not have your park tickets on it. I love though that things like that can get remedied so quickly at Disney. Other places you might have had to argue for them to be added. Not at Disney. One of just many reasons I love it there.

Your Donald is very nice! I didn't get to do the studio on our last trip. I definitely want to do it on our next.

As for the kids.. I have 4 of my own, so I am well aware of how antsy kids can get. I always feel kinda bad when I then get frustrated with some who are misbehaving. But...there is antsy..and misbehaving and RUDE and misbehaving. At least you got free from them once inside the theater!

Thanks, Connie. I was very proud of my Donald picture. The sandwich wasn't even a full sandwich and it was plenty for both of us. Mark and I were just talking this morning when we got out our Halloween decorations that we missed quite a few little things this trip so we'll have to plan another trip soon.

Just coming over to your TR!

First, Cookie is a cutie!!! We had a black poodle that was about the same size for 18 years. Teashia was a part of the family and it was hard when the time came that she needed to be put to sleep but she had many, many health issues and it had to be done.

Gotta love the site of palm trees! We have been to Florida many times and its still one of my favorite sites. I just want to lounge around them all day. What awesome surprises in your room! Kinda like Christmas, only better?!?!

Love the drawing. I think that is one of those things we will skip. On top of the kiddos being to young, I am the world worst when it comes to drawing.

Thanks for joining, Tam. Cookie is a sweetie (she'll be 13 in November). She is a Bichon Frise, but we keep her really short so that we don't have to groom her so much.

Your little ones are probably a little to young for the drawing class, but it is something to keep in mind as they get older.

Mark wears a baseball cap every day. The hat picture thing is just something we started many, many years ago when our kids were little (they are 24 and 22 now), and it's a tradition we do every year.

We love the CSR (obviously since we've stayed 9 times).

The umbrella is down one of those little "side streets" where you can take a pic of what looks like a "New York skyline".

Camille, I am a horrible drawer (I barely passed art class in high school) so I was very impressed with my outcome. I'm glad someone agrees with me on Stitch.

Truly, that is the first time we EVER had an issue with CSR messing something up. But it was easily rectified so no biggie.

The snowman is right outside the Christmas store which is right out one of the side doors of the Muppet store.

Believe me, my kids were NOT angels. But I drew the line when they were disturbing other people. I actually think the grandfather and mother thought it was funny that it was upsetting us.

Welcome. I think you will love CSR and I think it is a great place for your Disneymoon. We have ALWAYS gotten the area we requested. And if you get something and you aren't happy with it, there is no harm in asking if they have something available where you requested. The Casitas are our favorites--especially Buildings 4 and 5. Be sure to check out the "unofficial" FAQ thread in my signature if you've not been there for the CSR.

The Christmas store carries the same merchandise as the others, but it is cute the way it is set up.

Oh, Nicki...you brightened and saddened my day. I love the pics of Todd in his many hats...way too funny (can you imagine him and Mark together next year doing this? ). And it made me sad because we miss you guys so much (it's only 52 degrees here today and I'm so depressed).

You really should do the studio and do the drawing--a lot of fun. I have no problem with antsy children (mine were far from angels), but I do have a problem with RUDE like you said, and the parents were just as much to blame.

We have a picture of that one (it's our Epcot day) but didn't know it was scratch and sniff.
