The skeptic in me thinks there is a possibility of a scam here, mainly because she said that she thought there was something wrong because she smelled a foul odor when opening the package. That doesn't seem likely because there is no reason a dead mouse that was frozen in the packing process would be any less fresh than the salmon or other foods in the meal. If I took a dead mouse and froze it, it would not smell when it took it out of the freezer (at least until it thawed)...please do not ask me why I know this. Very long and sad story. So, why the odor? (maybe there is an explanation for that, I dunno)

Many years ago, a mouse was in our toaster. My sister popped in a couple of frozen Eggo waffles. After they were done, she thought she smelt hair, but didn't think much of it. Pulls out the waffles and there burnt mouse hair on them. So she peaks in the toaster, there it is, toasted mouse.

Not saying that's why there was no odor, but there was none for my sister except for the burning hair.

The report says that after the food was heated in the microwave, it smelled foul. She says she doesn't have any intention of suing, guess only time will tell.

Omg, I am so disgusted. I really wish someone hadn't posted that close up pic right on here. I read the story and I said to DBF "There's a pic, but I'm not clicking on it, bc I really don't want to see it" Ten seconds later, he heard me shriek. . .

I've never had a problem and I've consumed more than my share of LC's. It's possibly true or possibly a scam, I don't know, but I think I'll go on a chocolate and cookies only diet for a few weeks just to be sure.
