If you were going to have a more "fancy" nice meal. Where would you go? Shulas, Flying Fish, Spoodles, Artist Point, Cali Grill? Others I'm missing. I wonder if there's one that is just overwhelmingly considered best?

Setting aside Victoria and Albert's, which is higher-end (and more expensive) dining than many are interested in, the "big four" seem to be Jiko, California Grill, Artist Point and Citricos. Of those, Jiko seems to be the consensus favorite, with California Grill and Artist Point approximately equal in second place. I asked about these four recently, using a poll. Check it out here:

I should add that The Hollywood Brown Derby is right up there as well, but I didn't think to add it to my poll because we're already considering it for another day.

Thank you very much! I would have not even considered Jiko honestly. I forget about that one!

I would add to that list:
Jiko
Citricos
BlueZoo
Yatchsman Steakhouse
Wolfgand Puck Upstairs

Any of those mentioned, I would consider going to for a 'fancy' meal.

Artist Point rocks!! We've been there a few times and have always had an excellent meal.
