A message for the guys..

I'm not calling out anyone in particular but the posts are easy enough to find so, you'll know who you are. It's not my intention but it's hard to do this post without specific examples..I apologize.

On a few threads lately, and more often, some of the comments directed towards females have been..for lack of a better word..piggish. I'm far from a prude and I let things roll off my back but I don't like seeing these comments go without comment.

On the teen girl being a pain thread, it was suggested maybe she's on her period..on the masquerade wedding thread, the poster was told to go naked..on the large chested bathing suit thread, pictures were asked for. There's more examples, but these are the current ones.

I know it's a message board and these things happen but it's becoming more frequent and I, personally, don't like it. I know it's all said jokingly but still..I don't get why it's ok.

I've also seen my share of women making comments about men on this board as well... talking about a certain actor and saying how incredibly hot his abs are or whatever.

Goes both ways.

Eh, just ignore the meaningless drivel. As women we know enough to let it roll off our back and recognize it says more about the person saying it and means nothing to us.

Actors, not specific people on this site. I can't recall one female poster here asking to see a picture of a guy naked.

Wow, I'm a frequent reader, but not a frequent poster. I think they are funny and they're obviously joking. I personally like a little lightheartedness. So much of these boards are negative and complaining. Use the ignore feature if you don't like them, but they aren't breaking any rules.

There's also a possibility to report the specific post. I've done so in the past myself.

And when I was the moderator on the Disneyland Resort Paris forum here, we all agreed to take every report very seriously. And I believe that the guys running the site today still do!

Actors, not specific people on this site. I can't recall one female poster here asking to see a picture of a guy naked.

Maybe because the guys don't usually go blabbing about everything personal on this forum. If a guy started a thread that asked what he should wear in the 100 degree weather, I'm sure there would be at least 1 woman that would suggest "nothing". And not one person would blink at that being even remotely inappropriate.

Most comments are said just for fun.
