Saturday morning. We wake up a bit sad. Its been a long week and we have had the time of our lives. We couldn't have asked for a better week, a better vacation. As this may be our only vacation together ever, this has meant a lot to us. I have packed almost everything the night before. Mick and I look at all the bags and decide that we are not checking in or carrying on all this stuff. No way! We decide to look for someplace to mail this stuff. That's right. We are mailing our dirty laundry. LOL
We go to breakfast. Ride the train, the caroussel. Play. Have Ice Cream. Play some more. At 11am we check out. We finally get on the road. We must get to DTD but we want to get to a UPS store or somesuch. We start looking. Note: Although the bunny book states there is a Shipping store nearby, we never found it! The next closest one is quite a distance away. We finally stopped for gas and asked and were pointed in a possible direction and headed that way and finally found one. I go inside and empty a couple of suitcases of dirty laundry and cowboy hats and other trinkets and such into a box and ship it for $15.00. That was money well spent! I didn't have to do laundry as soon as I got home!
So off we go to DTD. I should note that so far this week it has yet to rain on us. We have had a few showers but we were always busy doing something inside during these showers. We would often come out and scratch our heads as everything was wet. Not so today. It started pouring. Hard. Uh oh. We head for DTD anyway hoping for the best. We finally arrive and as Mick pulls to the side to let me out, it stops. Yep, that's right.

Even the weather is perfect. For now.
To top it all off, he finds a parking spot mere feet away.
I am in search of just a couple of things. Picture frames for the kids and three ornaments; cinderella, peter pan and a YOAMD.
We get this picture in front of one of the shops.
And these two in one of the shops...
Mick finds a hawaiian print shirt and picks it up. I am having no luck. We decide to go to the Christmas Shoppe. Which is all the way over on the other side. Grrrrr!
We finally arrive at the Shoppe. I find a decent priced Cinderella but the PP is d/c until Christmas time and there is no YOAMD ornaments. They show me the number to call closer to Christmas to request these. I also pick up a couple of links for my charm bracelet. A Cindy and a TB, I believe. yay!
Mick and kids head off to Legoworld or whatever it is called and I go through the $10 and under store. I pick up some Christmas gifts. A Cindy Book on CD for Danae and a PP playset for Michael as well as some tumblers. Yay! I head back to World of Disney (I believe its called) and finally locate a couple of picture frames and have all these items shipped. Note: items are shipped based on price so if you have some small items you can stick in your purse, what the price estimates!
I finally meet up with the kids and Mick at McD's. He has fed them some fries. We head on out. We are hungry but its time to head to the airport.
We arrive to the airport, turn the car in (after a quick clean out), and head in. We do potty breaks and check in our luggage. There's a
Disney store there but I resist the urge. We make our way to security and then our gate.
Yes, the princess was allowed to wear her dress home.
So we still haven't eaten but somehow we don't manage to eat anything at this point. Not sure why though. I vaguely remember checking in and asking if there were any problems in Atlanta. The guy checks, says everything is fine but is quite rude. I have worked for the airlines before and I'm having a tense moment here with his answer but we have no time to really quibble here. He says everything is fine.
On this plane we are seated two and two.

Its a short flight and it must have gone with no issues as I don't even recall the flight.
Now, we have only 45 minutes or so for our connecting flight in Atlanta. I'm nervous as I worked for Delta before and know how HUGE this airport is. I will soon learn that Airtran has a much smaller area and the connection time will not be an issue....
Yes, next, "The Airport is WHAT?!"
