B He did not want utility buildings and offices to be seen by Guests.
C He did not want Cast Members to eat with Guests.
D He wanted a secure area to store the cash that was taken in during the day.
The answer is A. In Disneyland, Cast Members have to walk through the park, in full view of Guests, to get to and from central areas such as costuming. During a trip to Disneyland's Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney reportedly saw a "Sheriff" from Frontierland walking through Tomorrowland. The out-of-place character ruined the illusion of Tomorrowland - which was reportedly the catalyst that prompted Walt to develop the system of underground corridors for WDW.

216 days until Disney. Where is Disney's Hollywood Studios in relation to Epcot?
A North
B South
C East
D West

I apologize for not updating lately. It's been awhile, huh? Since I last posted, I have been to Chicago and New Orleans and enjoyed a rather large Memorial Day barbecue at our house.

Let's start with my last trivia question:
216 days until Disney. Where is Disney's Hollywood Studios in relation to Epcot?
A North
B South
C East
D West
Answer: B. The Studios are located south (and a little bit west) of Epcot.

Next, an update. Today we are at 198 days from Disney, 197 days from our trip. I have used crowd calendars and last year's park hours to form a tentative plan and our ADR requests. Here's the plan:

Friday 12/16 - Arrive Orlando, town car to Hard Rock Hotel, Dinner at CityWalk
Sat 12/17 - IOA/US - lunch at Mythos, cab to Poly, evening open (possibly MK for EMH)
Sunday 12/18 - Epcot, early dinner at 'Ohana, MVMCP
Monday 12/19 - Sleep in, late breakfast at Kona, Epcot, dinner at California Grill
Tuesday 12/20 - Animal Kingdom, dinner at Boma
Wednesday 12/21 - DHS, lunch at 50s Prime Time Cafe

I have a couple of other surprises built-in, but I can't say them here, because they are surprises for Haley.

I am also going to try to squeeze in a meal at Whispering Canyon Cafe if possible.

Also, Southwest extended its schedule last week to include our travel dates. After seeing JetBlue's prices for those dates, I was not surprised to see high prices from Southwest as well. I went ahead and booked our flights on Southwest, since they will honor price drops and have no change fees. Just one day after they released the schedules, one of the flights' prices had increased, so I was nervous. So, I feel comfortable that our flights are all set.

We used a town car service (the DIS won't let me name it) last year for our transportation from the airport to HRH and were pleased, so we will use them again. However, I am not going to reserve just yet because I receive emails from them with specials about once a month and they will not apply the special to existing reservations. So I'll wait until their specials cover our travel dates.

And today's trivia:
198 days until Disney. What is the largest pavilion in Epcot?
A Mission: SPACE
B The Living Seas
C The Land
D Universe of Energy

I am so jealous that you booked your flight. Your plans look awesome :thumbsup2

As for the trivia...

I will go with B :goodvibes

A Mission: SPACE
B The Living Seas
C The Land
D Universe of Energy
Answer: C The Land pavilion measures 253,780 square feet and covers six acres. Its main building holds up to 3,600 people and originally included two attractions, along with a guided behind-the-scenes tour, a great little food court, and a wonderful character-meal restaurant. It now has a third attraction "Soarin'", opened in 2005. As you enter The Land, you will pass the largest flower bed on property. It measures 20,000 square feet and contains about 20,000 plants. Working greenhouses and labs are also housed in this pavilion.

They all come from the same book. I have to weed through all of the "numbers" ones. I don't like to ask "how many acres...?" "how many pounds...?" "how many miles...?" There are tons of those!

Hmmm, not really sure. My guess is D. Dr. Seeker.
Hmm...let's see the answer...
