me to on the feelin better - i'm not the type to take this lightly as i'm not out of work and sick...soon i'll be back at it.

it was the first sailing on that itinerary (never again) and the ship is do big hense it couldn't dock in GC with crappy weather - which itinerary are you doing? the ship is amazing...

Hey sorry i'm back now! what a crazy few months for me.

Quick low down -
went on Carnival Magic cruise end of November
we were 5hrs late docking at Jamaica - still had fun at beach
we missed grand cayman completely so sad too windy
we had a great time in Cozumel snorkling, sail and beach time
but that night i woke in horrible pain and couldn't move.
b4 we left i was suffering numbness in both hands and arms. doctors put me on pills and had me booked for MRI 31st of Dec
came home from trip - went to doctors - she put me on short term leave from work and here i am still off
went to MRI on 31st found out i have a hernia slipped disc in my neck that is pushing on my spinal cord and not allowing fluid to pass
so i'm going for surgery march 2 for a fake disc to be installed with titanium plates and screws

sad but true but i am so going on this trip - just maybe skip ziplining

so questions!! what's FE? sounds fun and we are so in and would love to help plan and such as i'm off work til atleast may and bored silly!

so excited! 242 days til we hit Texas! we are booked at the Harbour House which is where we stayed in November and it was so awesome! when we get off this cruise we are staying the the Best Western beachfront inn for one night to got to the other cruise on carnival magic to nassau, key west and freeport. this is Bonnie's first all family cruise/trip/airplane adventure.

wow,what a couple of months you have been through.Sure hope you start feeling better after your surgery.That's terrible about your cruise.Hope this Disney cruise will make up for all your troubles!

Anyone want to have a Dis meet on the cruise?You guys that have been on a Disney cruise before can let us know when and where would be good.I think if we did it early on,the kids could make some friends right away ,since there will be so many kids that are similar in age.

yes definitly, that sounds great! where are you all staying the night before? our family is staying at the harbour house! in the past at meet and greets we have done them various ways. you can do either after boat drill or since we start off with a sea day, do it that morning. i know if we have a really large group we will have to book a space, so it will depend. i can help on some capacity

We will be staying at the Hilton(my parents have points making the rooms free)I guess we will need to see how many people we end up with wanting to have the meet up,to see how much space we will need.


Right now we have 5 cabins signed up for the Fish extender exchange.Anyone else that wants to join pm patti226 with your cabin #,names, sex,and ages of people in the cabin,and email address.We will make the cut off to join September 1st,so those making homemade gifts will have enough time to do so.

I am already working on some of my FE goodies,helps to pass the time until our cruise!!

Thanks for the reminder of the FE maybe more people will sign up. If and when they do I will update the list. I really must get started on mine, but I've been busy getting ready for my other cruise.

Anyone else getting excited?I can't wait to book excursions ,I keep changing my mind about what we might do.Anyone know how long it takes to get a passport?I think I am going to take the kids to get them when summer starts,will that be enough time?

I think it takes 2 to 3 weeks to get a passport. So if you go at the start of summer you will have plenty of time.

I hope more people sign up for our FE.

I have just 15 days until my other cruise.

Can anyone give me some about the kids club? I am wondering how the age groups are separated. I have a 3 yo, and I can't imagine they would be doing the same things as a 7 yo.

Also, I have read on other pages that they do not allow parents in the kids club except on open house night. Is that correct? Will I be able to stay with my child for a short time to get her comfortable with the area/adults?

We will be cruising on this sailing as well. We will be traveling with a 4yo at the time of sailing. She has cruised twice before but only used Flounders Nursery which she loved last year.

If anyone can provide any details about the Open House that would be great.

Does anyone know how the new boarding works? I am very interested to know if they are going to be using it in Galveston. We would be interested in a meet and greet but we will be driving down the morning of the cruise, bright and early. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi everyone. We wil be cruising with you all for my daughters 6th bday and mine and my husbands 10 yr wedding anniversary. It's our first cruise ever and we're pretty excited. Can't wait to board!!! Any must know suggestions for a first time cruiser?
