Patti,thanks again for all the work on the fe list.Maybe we should wait until Sept.1st to split the rooms.That way we know for sure how many we end up with.I would hate for you to have to split it now and then again if a few more join before the 1st.

I think this is a great idea. It's only a few days away, and I know another cabin next to us might sign up too.

Don't forget to set up your character calls. Mickey already called my daughter and she loved it. Is anyone getting dressed for Pirate Night. My husband and I were pirates last halloween so we are going to bring the costumes. I'm going to dress my daughter like Izzy from Jake and the Pirates.

we had a call from Mickey to my 10yr old girl and Goofy called my 13yr old. It was awesome We have bought costumes and are excited to dress up for pirate night!!! my girls are "punky pirates"

Hi Patti - I've been buying supplies for my FE's and may have enough to do all the cabins as well(would rather use up all my supplies if I can!), depending on the number overall. Before you split the groups on 9/2, can you let us all know how many cabins are participating overall before splitting them? Then that way I can let you know ASAP if I can do both groups or just one and you can add me accordingly to the final group list(s).

I hope that makes sense!?!

OK. So, I'm a computer programmer....and was bored today. I wrote a small spreadsheet utility for taking our fish extender list and organizing the data to organize my FE gifts better. It takes Patti's list and breaks it down by gender and age...and also produces a list of cabin numbers (to help plan for distribution).

Then, I saw the messages about splitting the group. So, I thought that this information might be good to help decide how a split may be done.

DH and DGD's will be dressing for pirate night, one is captain hook, the other Tinker Belle. Husband has great costume that looks a lot like Jack Sparrow (the costume not the husband) Even though I think he looks great. Me, I don't dress for pirate night but I do for formal night. Love the speadsheet, and again thank you to Patti, the fish extender QUEEN!

Thanks for your work, Fox Dad. I've been doing that same type of count, except by tally marks, but have postponed doing it again until the lists are final and the group is divided.

Is anyone staying at the baymont before the cruise and leave a car there? If so my husband is dropping us at the terminal and then he needs to take a cab to the terminal. If he could share a cab with someone doing the same thing that would be great.

I think we are going to drive down on Saturday morning and leave the car at a park and lock. It just seems easier.

I am working on where we will stay today. I have friends in the Houston area and they strongly suggested using the park and pay lots at the port for the safety of your car. They said that since it is in fenced lots with security it is safer. Unfortunately, I guess there are those that know which hotels people can leave their cars unattended at for a week at a time and take advantage of that. I guess I would rather be safe, even if it costs a little more.
