Just thought I'd share a magic moment that happened on our last trip. My daughter is a BEAUTIFUL little girl of 2 years who looks remarkably like "Boo" on Monsters Inc. We had her dressed up in her Cinderella dress for the day when we were stopped by a castmember outside Mickey's house in toontown. He said that he had been looking all day for a Cinderella. It was the first day of the Happiest Celebration, and the press and all were there in huge groups with all the hooplah. He said that he needed a Cinderella and that all he had been able to find was Bels, and snow whites. He then told us that she would likely be on the new commercials. We were ESTATIC!!! YES! Our lil princess on TV! Not just on TV, DISNEY! He told us to wait while he went to get the press. When he returned he was disappointed. He said they had been on a very strict schedule, and that they had to leave without finding one, less than 2 minutes before he got there. Our joy turned to sadness. So as a letdown gift he had a castmember go with us and gave us first photo access to every character in all toontown! NO LINES! We were escourted via the back doors to every one of them, princesses and all. Then the unthinkable happened. That brand new 35mm camera that I had JUST bought off Ebay DIED. I was fighting with it, and he saw me all but ripping it in half in anger (it had ruined our pictures on our LAST trip only 4 months earlier, and had been exchanged once already; this was the second new 35mm camera that had messed up our disney pictures). He went over to the rack, got a brand new Kodak disposable camera with 36 exposures and handed it to me. He said, here its on the house! I was grinning now. The other camera started working the next day so I had 2, then it died again, and I was REALLY glad I had the disposable one. The REAL humor is that was in May 2005. Were going again next month and we are taking it AGAIN because we havent taken all the pictures yet!!!
I asked him how he was able to just grab one off the shelf (it was pretty expensive) He said "I'm a castmember. I can do all kinds of things!
