A little update on me. So,chemo was cancelled last monday. I ended up in the hospital Tuesday getting a blood transfusion at 8am. Got home at 9pm that night,and I have to go to the drs. today to get everything rechecked.
And my oncologist is unsure if I'm going to get chemo or not next week because he's out of town. So as of now,I won't be finished with chemo until about the end of March/beginning of April. But my onco might take off some treatments as now they're making me really sick.
Anywho,I was stuck in the hospital in Philly all day tuesday. Left home at 5am and got home at 9pm! I took a nap around 2pm,woke up,turned on my laptop,and boom! what do I see plastered all over my screen? Actor Heath Ledger dead!
I was like woah! So that was the buzz all throughout the hospital that evening. But now,according to different news articles,some of the prescriptions he took that might've factored in his death are some of the same ones I'm taking!
Ativan,Xanax,Ambien,all those I also take,for severe anxiety problems and insomnia.So that's really freaking me out.
And now I'm starting to have heart palpitations from the chemo. That's scaring me too. But I'm trying not to pay attention to that,and focus on the '2 months and it's over' thing.
Anyway,just wanted to let you all know what's going on,I know I haven't been posting that much lately.
And sorry if my typing seems screwey,I keep sneezing every 2 seconds,so my eyesight's a little blurry.
