For some reason this just came to me and I thought I'd share it with you all...

If you happen to have lunch at Pecos Bill's in Frontierland, and the place happens to be jam packed full of peope and you can't find a place to sit; remember this little tip.

Head to where the bathrooms are, and keep walking forward. At the end of the hallway there is more seating on the Adventureland side, and usually, there's no body there!

I've done this everytime I've eaten at PB's for the last few years and have enjoyed a nice peaceful lunch. I thought I'd share this with you all so maybe I'd run into a few more of you "green ear" folks in Sept! :teeth:

Thanks never thought of that! and have been stuck in the no table situ many times ! :thumbsup2

I didn't know about that! Thanks so much for sharing, as Pecos Bill's in one of my favorites. :thumbsup2

Another option: Past the area you describe is a ramp that leads up to the dining area for the usually closed taco place. If the ramp isn't roped off, head up to an empty covered seating area outside just across from Pirates. No one is ever up there. The cover helps to keep the birds away, and there is usually an employee who keeps an eye on the place to keep it clean.

I think that's the place I'm talkin about.

You're welcome folks!
Just remember, this is our little secret. :teeth:

That is where we always sit, and it's usually empty. :sunny:

For whatever reason, it feels cooler to me over there, too.

:ssst: Don't give away all of my best secrets! ;) That area is really a nice spot. I will be using it on 9/22, when we are dining there before MNSSHP. Maggie

Thanks, I found that seating when I was looking for a CM that didn't look too busy. There were only a few people seated in that area.... and it is a nice area to have your meal and "rest up"

Thanks for the tip :thumbsup2
Last year we ate here for the 1st time and I walked back to find a table with 3 kids and a tray filled with everyones food. I felt like I was loosing my grip so I hurried to set my tray down on the edge of a table to readjust. There was just one guy sitting there without any food and he pushed my tray nearly off the table and said "taken!" I think he even grunted! :sad2: It was quite possibly the rudest encounter I've ever had with someone.

I'm glad to here of an alternate seating location. Thanks so much!

I like to sit outside and feed the birds at Pecos Bills. Yeah, some folks dont like birds, but I think the big black birds are so cool. :) I know the castmembers frown upon you feeding them, but I imagine thats probably mostly because some people try to feed them messy foods and it makes it a messy walkway, which really is unsanitary. As long as you stick with small pieces of dry foods (no cheese sauce!!!) like bread and french fries, theres no mess. The birds have to eat too. :goodvibes
