A little ticket help please for Florida Residents??

We've only been in Florida since last July and we had visited Disney in April before moving so we haven't been back. I have relatives coming to visit from NY who are interested in going and wondering about cheaper tickets. If I bought tickets would I even be able to take them with the residents tickets? How does all that work? And where would you guys get the cheapest tickets otherwise? Thanks!

Every adult has to show a FL ID to use a FL resident ticket.

I have heard stories about people using community ID's (rather than drivers licenses) but I'm not sure I believe them.

We have the FL Resident seasonal AP's they have blackout dates but we wouldn't go during those times anyway.

As for the cheapest tickets- we buy ours through AAA.
