I was looking at the Google Spreadsheet and I noticed that another person has been added, "Holtzclaw." Was just wondering if this is a new DISer or a friend of a DISer who is going on this cruise? (since we haven't seen any replies on this thread from them) Almost finalized with my FE gifts so wanted to make sure I made enough! Only 35 days until our cruise!!

We are going on this cruise too!! Our family includes me, my DH, and DD (who will be 6 two days after the cruise). We are also traveling with my parents, and my brother and his family. We are so excited to be on the Christmas cruise!!

I was wondering if there are any meet and greets setup? My daughter is a little shy and it would be great to have her meet some girls her age at the beginning of the cruise. Also we are from colorado and have never been to Texas or any of the other ports, what is the weather like normally in December? Will it be warm enough to swim on the boat? Thanks for the help!

Good morning! Is it too late to join in on the FE. I have a DD and DS(7) coming along and we have been particiapting in the past on our cruises. With the holiday's it has been crazy but my son asked me this morning what we were going to make! We have a really cute FE idea and would love to join in. Let me know what info I can provide! How many carry on's are allowed? Can you have a carry on and a backpack or purse as well?

If so, how did it work?

I've seen that they have a package that you can get so many minutes of wifi, is it good or not?

I turn my cell off & don't use it. You usually don't have service at sea and I don't want any surprise charges. Can't speak for the wifi, but I have read on the boards that it is slow. You can search for a thread about wifi.

In the past we have carryed on the alcohol. The ship will not let you board with any styrofoam containers, though. I have seen people with numerous carry on's so I do not believe there is a limit. I would pack your alcohol in a carry on and it will go through a scanner.

Not too sure if wifi costs the same as using the internet in the lounge...but just be prepared to wait for a page to load. We usually turn our cell phones off...but I think since we make a stop in Key West we will have them with us in port that day.

Yes, I have carried them on in a cardboard box with no problems!! One month from today!! Very excited!!

In the past, I carried it onto the plane, as it was a one way only carry-on! I have also packed a box in a suitcase before for ready access. My son always makes sure the FE is packed in the carry on because he wants it up as soon as possible! He still thinks the gifts come directly from Mickey...this year, he is already questioning if they come from Santa or Mickey...I have told him both!! ;-)

I'm happy to see that the deadline for the FE is Nov 24...which (hopefully) means I can sign up...just in time! We are a family of 5...myself, DH, DD (13), DS (11), DD (5). The kids (and I!) had a ton of fun with the FE last year and are excited to participate again! I can't wait to 'meet' you all aboard the 'Magic' in just 1 month!!!
