Some of you may recall that much earlier this year I had some malignant melanoma removed. Sadly, one of them had gone to a stage two tumor and this involved some horrible medication, a short course of radiotherapy and a more serious operation in May. Two weeks ago I was in for a check up (which I thought would be the all clear) and another pre-malignant mole was found which I had removed yesterday
Considering the nature or this forum and the fact that we all love to travel to a hotter part of the world than most of us reside in, I cannot warn you enough to get checked any moles or marks you think may be abnormal, particularly if they start to itch or bleed
Thats that off my chest....stay safe

I have a 5yo DD who has very pale skin and red hair and I am religious with the sun cream. I used to have to wear a tshirt in the pool on holiday when I was younger and I hated it so took it off and I don't remember the application of much cream so hopefully our children have a better start that they will thank us for later
I had to had some IV pain relief which always makes me really nauseous too
