I am a woodworker since I retired in '97 and just thought I would share a couple of pics of my work. This is called intarsa, which is kinda like a puzzle. You cut the pieces out of different kinds of wood, then reassemble them.

Wow, you're really talented. Your work is beautiful! I can tell that you really put a lot of time and care into your creations. Woodworking is near and dear to my heart- my grandfather, who was an architect, had a passion for anything to do with wood, building things, and designing things. Some of the items he made for us over the years were doll beds, a cedar chest, bunk beds, Christmas ornaments and a rocking horse. He never made the kind of puzzle you posted a picture of, though! Again, you do amazing work.
