A little off topic (employment)

Hi everyone,
I didn't know where I should post this, so I went with this board.
I'm planning to audition for Belle in the Beauty and the Beast stage show at Hollywood studios. I know that performers have equity contracts, but does anyone know if they have a typical length? I'm asking because I would be going to school in August, so I would be able to work from the beginning of April to the end of July. Does Disney only have contracts starting at 6 months or can a performer have one for 4 months? Any info is helpful. Thank you!

I've read that the contracts are for at least a year so you may not be eligible.
