A little Nervous about Dolphin Resort

NHBelle...Eloquently stated! We tried the Dolphin more than a decade ago...and have had a "rough" time staying elsewhere. We still visit other "Disney" properties, but only briefly. We always END our sojourn with a stay at the DOLPHIN. This year is no different...out of six weeks in the MAGIC, the final 26 eves belong the the DOLPHIN! ^_^ Like the Great Pyramids rising out of the ubiquitous Egyptian landscape...The Dolphin looms magestically over the Epcot resort area. The understated MAGIC, locale and whimsical atmosphere have our hearts bound and tied to the wonder of...the WDW Dolphin. Enjoy your stay.

I, too, was concerned when we made reservations at the Dolphin. We were (notice the past tense!) fans of the Contemporary, but info I found on these boards led us to choose the Dolphin for a big family vacation in Feb. 2002 (thanks to all on these boards- esp. glo!). Seventeen of us went and got the fabulous gov't employee and nurse's rates available there. Not only was the rate unbeatable, the location is as well! It's easy to go anywhere from the Dolphin and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Boat to MGM, walk to the Boardwalk area (Flying Fish Cafe!!!), walk to Epcot. I thought I would miss walking to the Magic Kingdom (from the CR), but the Dolphin's location puts you in the middle of so much! Enjoy!!!

Oh my goodness, you will LOVE the Dolphin!

Stayed there in December of 2000.

So there's no Mickey soap........so what !!!!!!

This is a colorful, lively, terrific hotel.........your proximity to Epcot and Boardwalk is super. You'll have everything you need.

Plus, you're staying in a DELUXE hotel ...at WDW...for under 100 bucks. I'd walk on my hands and knees to Orlando for that rate at the Dolphin.
