My first question is are you from the UK. . .if so I understand the frenetic energy placed in securing dining ressies as when you all buy a package you get the deluxe dining plan. I would suggest finding a table at Victoria and Alberts (better known as V & A). A great dinner would be had there. Its two TS credits so you can use up some of those unused credits. I couldn't ever do 3 TS a day. That is too much food. But then again, that is me.

Have fun with your ressies. . .

Great choice

With hoop de doo and cinderella's royal table and California Grill you MUST book it 180 days prior to your stay well not with the country show but the other 2 if you try to book it 2 months or less till you go you WON'T get it Hope this helps for more info get birnbaums walt disney world guide without kids that book is amazing!!! good luck and HAVE FUN!!!:thumbsup2

Well we are not from the UK but right here in the US, we did get the delux dining plan my husband really wanted 3 meals a day. All of the ressies I listed are ones I have already booked. So too much you think?:confused3
Also do you think there is a better breakfast buffet to go to?
Thanks for your suggestions

hey its me again if you are foodie's the signature restaurants are awesome!!! my favorite character buffet's are chef mickey's huge selection of breakfast items 1900 park fare in the morning its called mary poppins supercalifragalistic Breakfast theres 5 characters for the breakfast and dinner is Cinderella and 1 more ohana's or its called Lilo and Stitches breakfast with cousins and friends the food is amazing the only reason to get up is to use the restroom. If you still need any help don't hesitate to ask me :thumbsup2

Bistro de Paris in Epcot is a nice, more intimate setting. I had dinner there once and our table was next to a window where we had a wonderful view of Illuminations.

I won't go back to 50s prime time again -- I've been twice and interaction was minimal unless you had kids at the table. Not that I minded that much, but if you really want it, you might be disappointed. Maybe I just got two dud waitresses/"aunts."

Sci Fi is more fun, so we just do the burger/fries thing there.

Mayan Grill was so-so for dinner -- not sure what the breakfast would be. I think I'd save the credits and do a nicer evening restaurant instead, like the Yachtsman Steakhouse or something like that. We've had some very nice dinners there -- good food without being too dressy.

But I'm not a breakfast person!

My husband and I find that San Angel Inn can feel very romantic, with it's dark setting and candle lit tables.

We also enjoy the food at Yak and Yeti, although it is not intimate.

Your ressies sound great. Have a wonderful trip!

As a note, neither V&A nor Bistro accept any of the dining plans. They do accept the inclusive packages (Premium and Platinum), but not the normal dining plans (QSDP, DDP, or DxDDP)

One key thing when planning DxDDP is meal spacing. If you don't think you can fit 3 sit-downs within that day, it's best to leave one off, you don't want to show up and not be hungry at all.

9/15 - Lots of travel here, but if it's just a DtD day (or a DtD/MK day, then it'll work out just fine.

9/16 - All 3 good choices (at least so I hear, I haven't done Coral Reef myself yet). SAI has come a long way since a couple/few years ago when it was pretty bad off and while a princess meal, Akershus is quite good.

9/17 - If not staying at CSR, I'd pick something else for breakfast. It's not horrible, but it's nothing at all worth going out of your way for.

9/18 - If you like Disney Junior characters (and there's absolutely nothing wrong with adults who do!) then this breakfast will work. Alternatively, if using it to get in the gates early for a better shot at TSM, then it's a possibility (from what I hear though, it's not much of an advantage). Otherwise, you may be better off choosing something else.

9/19 - Looks like a MK day. I'd look into Kona, The Wave, or Grand Floridian Cafe if looking for 1 TS locations. Alternatively, Citrico's (2TS) over at the GF is a very solid choice.

9/20 - A lot depends on where you'll be this day and it's a bit tough to make suggestions without knowing.

With the plans laid out as you have them, I'm going with the assumption that you're checking in on 9/14 and out on 9/21. If so, this puts you at 21 credits each, counting all question marks as 1 TS, that takes up 19, which is absolutely fine (DxDDP breaks even right around 2/3 of credits spent at TS). Don't be afraid to sub one or two CS meals into there, it won't put you into the red at all :).

As for what I did last year (and planning again this year), I typically only do 2 TS meals a day. Either breakfast + dinner, or lunch (earlyish, ~11:30am) + dinner (lateish ~7pm). It works out best for me as I'm normally at least hungry enough to eat by the time the next meal rolls around. I did make the mistake last year of eating at around 5:30 after a noon lunch, and I surely wasn't hungry for it at all (it was when Hacienda was opening up, and they didn't take reservations, so I wanted to make sure I got a spot early enough...)

Hey, have a blast. I have not eaten at all of them but, quite a few. BOMA is great but expect it to be noisy. But , that said, I would go back in a nano second. Great food! I enjoy Crystal Palace for a late lunch when I am in disney. Great buffet, noisy, but heck I'm at disney! Hoop de do is fun, but the food is nothing fancy. It's about the show. California Grill ... that is your romantic night out! It's quiet, nice view of fireworks.

I love to eat, but when at disney I usually punt and keep 407-wdw- dine in my cell and make ressies ,but if our day changes and we are at another park I call and cancel ressies and see what else I can get into near me.
Twice I went with ressies at Canada and both times we cancelled! It was unGodly hot one mothers day, another time we were at hotel and just exhausted and wanted a nap , swim and just something quick and easy.
Other times we get to the point we want a sit down home style meal. <G>

Not to be overlooked...the counterserve at Morocco. ( sis and I ate there 3 times!) UK was outstanding , we ate around 4 pm and got and outside table in the shade. France... ehh, I'm not a big fan of french food, but that is me, but the french onion soup was great. How about anything on boardwalk? I'm not sure what is on your plan, but knowing some back up eateries may be a good idea! I hope you shoot us a review of your trip! Nancy

Thank you everybody for your help :worship:! I am going to try to get into Sci -Fi and drop my mornig meal at Hollywood and Vine! Thank you all for your help and if wasn't for my DD I would only do 2 TS meals a day but he is a 3 sit down meal a day kind of guy! :headache: It drives me and my waistline crazy....:rotfl:

Hoop Dee Doo is great... like some else said, less about the food...all about the show. If you use you Dining credits, though, your seats aren't as good as if you pay oop. CRT will have a lot of kids... do you care about having a character experience? Because, the food there is only so-so. However, if you can eat during Wishes that is kinda cool. Also, you might want to look into Dining With an Imagineer. That's a more adult experience. We also like Tony's Town Square Restaurant in MK. The Grand Floridian also has some great restaurants... we love the GF Cafe! Personally, we get the Deluxe Dining Plan and I wouldn't go any other way!

My very favorite place to eat is at Le Cellier. They have amazing food, but it is difficult to find reservations, thus the wonderful food! The cheese soup and the mousse are on my fav's list. Sounds like you have a full menu planned....have a fun trip!

Le Cellier is wonderful. The cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread one of my favorites. I would also try bomas for dinner. a great variety of foods I never had before.

if you want to do a character breakfast on the 18th, i would suggest cape may cafe, it is phenomenal! and the characters are GREAT! and only a boat ride away from MGM since it looks like that is where you are going to be. Also some of my favorite restaurants you haven't mentioned are Kona Cafe (Poly), Tony's Town Square (MK), 1900 Park Fare (breakfast, GF)

I am a total foodie, too! I'm going in Sept for 7 days with DxDP

Just a suggestion while you are at Hollywood Studios, the Brown Derby is an excellent place for lunch or dinner.
