Through all that we have been through during the hurricane I have to share a little magic my son and I had one day. We waited in line for three and a half hours at Home Depot for a generator in the boiling sun with no shade except for my Winnie the Pooh umbrella. I had gotten a cart to put the generator on and had rigged up the umbrella so that I could sit on the cart and have the umbrella over me for a little shade. The cutest little boy, 5 years old, kept staring at my umbrella which had classic pooh, Eeyore, Piglet and Christopher Robin on it. Finally he came up and asked where I got it. I told him my mother had given it to me years ago. I think she got it at Cracker Barrel and it really is a pretty umbrella. He told me in the most serious voice that my umbrella had all the things I love on it. Well, we spent the rest of the wait, about 2 hours, talking all about Disneyworld (they have season passes) and all our favorite rides. When we would get off topic he would quickly say Lets talk some more about Disneyworld. I found a Mickey Mouse sticker in my purse that I had some how held onto from our trip in March so I gave it to him. Well, he lost it. We searched and searched all up and down the long line but only found the paper it had been on. I told him that someone must have found it and stuck it on their shirt but that was okay cause they got a little Disney magic. I did too.
