A little confused with how points work, are they per night or per day?

Hi everyone, new here, I'm doing a lot of research on purchasing DVC for my family, and I am trying to understand how many points we need.

So, for example, I'm looking Anaimal Kingdom Lodge, a 1 bedroom villa Savannah view, for January 13-16 2025 it's 31 points a night.

If I checked in on January 13, then checked out the morning of January 16, would that cost me 93, or 124 points? I'm hoping 93 because 31 additional points for the morning before we check out seems nuts. If I were paying cash, it's clearly marked as a per night charge, so that would be 3 nights, so I'm hoping that points are the same.

Welcome. It’s points per night. You would pay points for the nights of the 13th, 14th and 15th.

Ooh, good to know, though I think I'm probably going resale, I'm not sure direct is worth it for us.
