A little about my new P/T job....

I posted about it a few days ago...and eventhough I was only there for 2 days.....I know I am going to love it! It is going to only be me and another girl (the owners daughter) in the office. We get along great.
And, on my second day (today)....I was by myself! And the owner even went out for a couple hours this morning. Yesterday (my first day) I even got to drive to the bank to do their bank deposit!!!

I guess they trust me

It was only going to be running prints from the computer and answering phones. But now I am going to be learning paybables, shippers, invoices and payroll!! Maybe they figured out that I am not a "dumb blonde"

Anyway....I actually feel like I have worked there forever already.....very comfortable....etc. Plus, in slow time I can go on the internet whenever I want!!!!

Just thought I would update everyone!!!

(BTW...for those who don't know...this is my first job in 7 1/2 years!!!!)

***Today the owner gave me some little calculators with the company name on them for the kids!!! I was leaving and asked to take a few pens with their logo on it for the kids and he told me to wait a minute and he went and got the calculators***

Lisa, Welcome back to the workforce. I'm glad you're liking your new job. That's also nice that they'll let you on the Net during slow times. Just don't let them catch you on it too much! Don't want to ruin a good thing!
