A lights on ride video Space Mountain (DL)

Just saw this link from screamscape.com to a lights on video at the currently-in-progress rehab at DL's Space Mountain. It is DL, but WDW ride is quite similar, other than the side by side seating, like Splash is at WDW, and onboard music. (Funny how they are reversed at the two parks, Splash at DL in single row seating, like Space at WDW). Thought you might enjoy........

I did post this on the Theme park board also, but know many do not visit that always and thought it pretty unique.

Wow! It seems almost tame with the lights on!! One thing I have done since the first time I rode Space Mountain decades ago was during the entire ride, I focus my attention to the night sky. Makes it seem like you are almost out in space. I tried to convince DH to try this (he does not like wild rides ), but he told me he was not about to open his eyes!!

EVERY TIME I ride space mountain here at WDW, for some reason i'm always afraid that if I keep my head up it'll get knocked off b/c I SWEAR I can feel the beams just like a half an inch above my hair! It always freaks me out....

Actually, Dan, the ride systems are quite different between WDW and DL's Space Mountain. WDW's Space Mountain is more like DL's Matterhorn.

I saw the interior of Space Mtn at WDW once while riding the TTA.
They were doing some rehab and had all the lights on. I thought it was interesting and felt lucky to have seen it
