A lady was mean to my 4 year old today..

I might have this wrong, but I think it means women who want to sleep with that creepy vampire guy from Twilight. Presumably, his body is cold as stone. I guess that means everywhere :rolleyes1

Ewwwwwwwww,

Should I start insulting kids who screech and poke people in an attempt to revive it?

:sad1: it would help

By the way a blue banana? Seriously, that is what that means?

This thread has reminded me that I get to look forward to my mother-in-law's "Coke Salad" which she always makes at Thanksgiving. There's no lettuce in it (though it does have jello and pineapple), so I guess she needs to change the name. I think "Abomination" has a good ring to it.

I think we've agreed- no lettuce, no salad. Sounds like an "abomination" to me, too!

Left to do a bit of shopping and eat. Sadly, not one little entitled snowflake bugged me all night.

Wow, glad the thread is still going strong. Never before have so many said so much about so little. I think that was Churchill.

Ok, I have just spent the past 2 1/2 hrs. reading this entire thread and let me say I was laughing so hard at times I had tears in my eye, but I'm really sleepy now. I just have one question...after the OP came back and wasn't upset, did Clover5 ever show back up or did I miss her??? I wonder if she ever settled down?? She seemed pretty, IDK, upset about life in general if you ask me.:confused3

Never came back. After making 20 YAGEs, she decided she meant it.

I think a lot of old people who are grouchy are in physical pain. Really. They are probably sore, back hurts, etc. and hating life. I feel sorry for your poor lil boy. I hope he doesn't remember being treated so rudely. It was absolutely uncalled for and I'm sure it made the lady feel even worse throughout her day to treat a child like that.

Siena, Italy. It is from the top of the Torre del Mangia overlooking the Piazza del Campo. It is by far my favorite city out of all the (admittedly limited) cities I have been to.

I have to make a correction. That tower in the background IS the Torre del Mangia. The picture was from the top of an arch that is next to the Duomo.

Oh, we will be in Sienna in 2011 (vacation not living). Pretty!

If you have a chance to go venturing off to some of the other cities in the provence do it. I did a week long bike trip through Tuscany and that was definitely the way to see the area. Once the trip gets closer I can shoot you some details. There is a restaurant in Siena named Due Porte (Via Stalloreggi, 62) I highly recommend. The best meal I had in the country was there.

If you make it over here please let us know. Maybe we can meet for a drink or something (no, I am not a cougar hitting on you--you have plenty of those:rolleyes1; I am happily married).

I'll make sure to keep that in mind. I'm hoping she gets the contract because it would be a fun trip and much cheaper than needing a hotel.

NH- McCafe here is a cute little wood-look serving area where they make the cappucino, mocha, latte, and hot chocolate.

if you have little ones ask for a "babycinno" it is a cup of jsut the foam so they leave your foam alone:rotfl2: They are free here and I hear parents who like coffee (I HATE coffee but not as much as I hate walmat;)) appreciate this:thumbsup2 This, of course, will cause your child to grow up to be a snowflake who always gets what she wants:dance3: (there really needs to be a snowflake smilie)

You can, but that doesn't mean you should.

How did this thread end up on page two, anyway? Did you people run out of things to talk about? Should I start insulting kids who screech and poke people in an attempt to revive it?

We all got busy on leagalseas thread. Then I went to bed. If DD ever gets over the flu (yes the oinky one) I will have to leave the house again and THEN what will happen:confused3
700!!! posts

Well go bak out until you have a story to come home with. Go on. Out with you.

Nah, she finally meant it when she YAGED. I don't think she was in the mood for FUN:upsidedow she was looking for indignation--maybe some other day she'll want to play.

Thanks for the correction. Don't worry we plan to explore Tuscany pretty well. The kids get two weeks off school every year in May or June ("summer" does not start until August) and we will rent a house for at least one week in that--hopefully two. I like to stay in an area a bit and get to know it.

Gotcha about the cheaper than a hotel room thing. We got a four bedroom just to provide lodging to all our family and friends:rotfl2: Sorry I cannot invite you--only people I know in real life get that perk:flower3:

For today.

Hey, has anyone ever seen an avocado fridge?

Yup, and the avocado metal cabinets to match, with a darker shade around the outside and the gradual fade into the true avocado in the middle. Back in the day it was very high end :lmao:

Methinks they'll be making a comeback. I mean it's been 30-40 years. Avacado is due.

Never in the history of Disney threads has so much been said by so many about so little.

Yes, you may quote me.

It has been a fun thread, with high drama and low comedy.

Yeah. a friend of mine was looking for avacado fridge all today at Best Buy...I mean, we are in a midst of sleek silver and white and she wants a green one. Drove me nuts.

Corny jokes of the day: What did the guy say when he walked into the bar?

I'll bite. What did the man say when he walked into the bar?
