A joint Liberal/Conservative thread. NO DEBATES!!

So let me get this straight. Is this just a community thing for all of us die hard core Dems and Rep. Like where we can talk about everything and anything. Or can there be kind discussions, if that is even possible between us, about politics? :p

is it alright to make rambling subtly disguised political commentary using brady bunch as a metaphor? :cool1: :goodvibes

Only if its clever and/or funny.

... and you're not talking about "joints", right?
you're talking about a combined effort, right?

Since we're doing Seinfeld references (everyone can agree on Seinfeld!), is this thread the internet equivelent of the black & white cookie?! :teeth:

Well, we could talk about Disney. It seems to be something we all have in common.

Sounds good to me. When's everybody's next trip? I was hoping for this September, but that's out now. I'll have to hope for next year. :sad1: Oh well, at least the Poly will be totally done by then! :goodvibes

I'm picturing "granny" going down Summit Plummet.

We leave for the World on September 10th! This will be the girls' first trip and we're taking my in-laws. Wish me luck. ;)

Oh Joe, you'll never know what you just started. MuggMann, don't even think about it!!!!!! I gotta get rid of that darn picture! Sorry Joe, just ignore me! :)

We're going to the World for a few days in early March I think. Weather should be nice. Our grandson turns 3 in May so we'll take him for his first time while he's still free. :teeth:

Sorry can't agree with Seinfeld. I haven't watched much of it, and I never thought it was funny. I do know about the Soup Nazi, but have no idea what the black and white cookie means?

We are taking a cruise in Nov. and are planning on one day at WDW to see all the Christmas decorations. Do you think we can see all the parks in one day? How do they look in the daylight? I figure we will have to do AK first, than maybe MGM, gotta see the Osborne lights, probably EPCOT than end the day at the MK, cause I think it will be the last to close. How's that sound?

Well, I will talk about Disney! Or we can talk about nonpolitical books we've read, or good music we like.

Here's something. We bought the music to the French musical, Notre Dame de Paris. The French version (DO NOT GET THE ENGLISH VERSION-- it's NOT GOOD). Anyways, I have listened to this over and over again since I got it. It's by Richard Cocciante, and every song is wonderful. I've seen the show, but the score is great on it's own.

And, here's another subject. We went to a Pow Wow this week. While the dancers and flutist were dancing and playing flute, there were 19 (my husband counted) eagles circling overhead. . . right above the flutist. It was amazing.

Okay. . I'm trying to be really nonpolitical here and make new friends! :thumbsup2

Do they start the Christmas decorations in November? I always thought they waited till December to put them up.

Dgf and I will be there in Nov! (I'm planning another solo next spring).

We're going Sept 23. . . but my husband might be offered a new job and he's concerned that that might interfere. I can't imagine that being an issue. It better not be, because we really need that WDW trip!
First time on-site, too!
