Has anyone else been watching this? I didn't realise just how long ago this was filmed - must have been at least 5 or 6 years ago.

Anyway, for those who are interested and have been watching, the Lyne family are no longer at the Bayview Inn, although I'm not sure whether it's because it didn't work out for them or they went on to bigger/better things

I often wonder what happened to them. I remember reading on a web site somewhere that 9/11 had a big impact on them - so that alone shows how long ago this was filmed. I hope they're doing OK with whatever thay went on to.

Yeh, me too. All I will say is that whoever did buy the Bayview (and is now running it) needs a course in Cutomer Service

I watched this a couple of years ago - they were from Bishop's Stortford which is where we live, but I have no idea whether they have returned.

It would be interesting to find out what they are doing now!

I watched this too, and all the repeats! Can anybody shed any light on the Lynes' fate???

I googled the name of the show and then the family's name. It came up with a letter from them stating that things were hard following 9/11 but also said they'd expanded various areas. They'd also had bad luck with a couple of rooms flooding, the air con needing repairing/replaced and their not having enough money to put in the pool they now had planning permission to build. They said that they were putting the place on the market ( letter mentions 2003 , so I presume it was around then). Other than that, I suppose the only way to find out would be to contact the producers of the show.
