A heads up for anyone who just booked

My package is listed as a 4 night AXA disney package but it does not say anything about needing a florida id under resort information just check in and out time, that it is room and tax only, advance dining arrangements suggested and prefer non-smoking room.

Maybe the CM just hit a wrong button on the computer. I would call and check so that they can correct it.

I have a new question to ask. I made my ressie on 2-23 using cro with the axa discount. I just got my conformation letter yesterday and it says nothing about being due in 21 days, but under resort imformation the 2nd items listed says florida resident id required upon check in. The cro never said, nor have I ever seen that the axa rate was for florida residents only. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks

That's really odd because the same thing happened to me last year when I made my original reservations using a AAA discount. It was a mistake, the CM just made a typo when putting in the code. I called and they corrected it. I would definitely call and straighten it out, it should be simple to take care of. If you don't they're going to expect proof of residency! At least that's what they told me when I called to correct the mistake on my reservations.

Has anyone NOT received a new confirmation for their ressies with code AXA or AXB. I changed my ressies over from a AAA discount the day the code came out and have not received a new confirm.

Should I call and request one? Silly me, probably.

I received mine about a week after I called. However, last year it took several phone calls and well over 6 weeks before I got my new confirmation letter after changing to an AP rate.

If you worry like and it's been at least 10 days, just call them and be very firm about wanting that confirmation. I was very nice the first 2 times I called, by the 3rd I was pretty insistent that I was going to have a fit if I had to make another long distance call. I got it 3 days later.:D

While I've never had a problem at check-in, I insist on having everything down on paper just in case.

I'm just like you peachgirl.

I'm on the phone as we speak.

Ok I just called re: a new confirmation for the new code.

CRO said that because it was only a code modification, no change in the reservation itself, no new confirmation was sent out.

He also said the balance was payable at check in.

Sounds right...I got a new confirmation this time but I guess it was because I had a DC discount and that reservation had to be cancelled in order to get the AXA discount.

I take it then, if an AP rate comes out we wouldn't get a new confirmation since the reservation wouldn't have to be cancelled? That is IF an AP rate ever comes out! I'm glad to hear about the balance being due at check-in!

My ressie through CRO was also just a code modification but I still got a new comfirmation mailed out within the week. Same ressie number but all new prices.
