We went to WDW in March. Our first trip.
Arrived a day late due to airline issues.
My 10 year old ended up sick on our first day as a result of the travel mix ups, no sleep, etc. I offered to stay at the resort with her. Hubby and our 5 year old headed out to MK and our much planned (and paid for) dinner at CRT our first night. I was so disappointed to miss seeing our youngest DD her first time with the princesses.
When the CM at CRT heard why we were two short on our reservation, they said they would transfer the meals for hubby and 5 year old DD to our DDP, so we would have 4 extra TS meals, and they would credit the meals charged to the DDP back to the Visa - for DH and our 5 year old. Great. Got our Visa bill today - they credited it for all 4 of us! What an awesome surprise. We totally understood that we did not cancel the two of us on time, but they still gave us full credit.
Disney really does go above and beyond what you expect.
Which is another reason why we will be going back.
