Wowzers! That was a long, picture-filled, fantastic and Boo-tiful post!! This party is one of the things I'm most looking forward to this Sept. You got some fantastic shots of the parade, and your story of billy and his popcor box made me laugh. He sure got a lot of mileage out of that!

The guy who eats all the bugs on the Travel Channel! lol Oh and We booked 3 extra days onto our trip in July. Instead of going down on the 6th we go the 3rd and were staying at Kidani Village!! =]

It didn't look like that park was too bad crowd-wise for being on Halloween night.

It was strange... some rides were walk-ons and some "lands" seemed much more congested than others. It definitely became more crowded after 8pm...

Andrew Zimmerman... how bizarre! I can't imagine that he found anything too exotic at the confectionary. Chocolate-covered grasshoppers are not too popular!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

There was a small opening in the crowd lined up on the other side of the parade group not far from the popcorn kiosk, so we were able to get to it fairly quickly. The line itself, however, was moving v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y! Come on, people, it’s popcorn and sodas for Heaven’s sake! What could be taking so long? At least I had Abby and Ron to keep me company.
It seemed like you guys were gone for a long time. . .
(Nancy, don’t laugh, but I think you’re DH looks a teeny bit like Gary Sinise!)
I had to laugh. . . we have been told that before . . .

Well, that’s what any good wench would do, right? I hope Ron didn’t see that…

I caught Tigger in the middle of a bounce!

That location was excellent!! Love that spot. And I think Boo To You is the best parade in the Magic Kingdom!

CMs walked along depositing candy into the kids’ treat bags. Billy didn’t bother with his treat bag, he simply held out his empty popcorn box!

I missed this while I was taking pictures. . . Good Idea!

It was lots of fun to share the fireworks and the parade with Nancy and her family. Thanks, Dreamer & Wisher! Once the parade had ended, however, we decided to part ways. They were off to do some more rides and we were headed to the Castle for the last showing of the Villians’ Mix and Mingle.

We had a great time! Thank you for sharing some of your vacation with us.

We took a nice, easy walk from Frontierland toward the Hub. The crowd was very thick now and we were all getting a bit tired. It had been a long day! We found an empty bench and paused to people-watch for about 10-15 minutes or so. We let the crowd thin a bit more before we got up and mosey-ed over to the Castle forecourt stage. There were a few people already there, but we were able to get nice spots in the center and we plopped ourselves down on the ground with the rest of them to wait.

Happily, we settled in to wait for the villains to take center stage. Afterwards we hoped to meet some of the characters and (finally) get some pictures. My niece was on a mission… to meet her favorite villain, the evil Malificent! The star of the show!

We had walked through the Earlier Mix and Mingle and it was very crowded sounds like you were smart to wait . . . Can't wait to read about it. . .

I rememeber that Yankee game like it was yesterday (how was that 3 months ago already). That was the one withthe first home run replay in the world series!! I was at my friends house watching it with her, and she's a Red Sox fan

You had to keep your KTTW card safe . I love your pictures in this installment. We really enjoyed the Boo to You Parade and are hoping to see it again during our Ip Dip trip in October. It was so cute how the pirate interacted with Billy, it just made me smile .

The fireworks are fantastic and we loved the Villian's show. I can't wait to see your pictures from it.

I had read that the later shows were less crowded... it was also nice to just sit for a while. It had been a long day! We had a great time with you and Gary (er, Ron) and the kids!!

Thanks... the parade route was somewhat bathed in that orange-colored light...it gave the pictures a sephia-like tone.

I'm still annoyed that I had to use our second-string camera, though! I will never forget batteries again!

They are the best part... great showmanship... but it's the other characters that interact and play with the crowd, so that's fun too!

My only complaint about Jack is that he is standing so very high up on that float... it's hard to get a good look at him!

Sometimes I'm more in the mood for a parade than others... it depends. The party parades are awesome... for some reason they just seem more festive and the characters more playful!

it was in some of my original plans...but it's either the day we arrive or the day we leave...so unfortunatly it will be a no go... no worries though there wil be plenty of Holiday cheer all around

BTW I like your new ticker it is cute... and I forgot to mention we are thinking the Treehouses will be great for the next family trip in hopeful 2013...I know it seems away off after this yrs trip...but it's OK...Matt and I get to go again next yr and fall seems to be a target w/ F & F F and MNSSHP...may not be as fun w/out the kiddos, but we are excited to spend our 15 yr anni w/ Mickey
